Adorable Owls Dainty Flowers DSP Note Cards

The January-April 2023 Mini Catalog is live and Sale-A-Bration has begun!! I have a quick and cute Note Card that I created using two of my favorite January-February 2023 Sale-A-Bration products – the Adorable Owls stamp set and the Dainty Flowers Designer Series Paper the coordinates with the January-April 2023 Dainty Delight Bundle.

Start with a Basic White Note Card card base. Cut a Dainty Flowers Designer Series Paper panel and then cut it into two panels – flipping the top panel to show the other side of the Designer Series Paper. Glue the panels to the Note Card card base. Cut a strip of either the Crumb Cake cardstock or the Old Olive cardstock and glue the strip across the transition between the two Designer Series Paper panels.

Punch out a Basic White cardstock circle with the Decorative Circle punch. Stamp the sentiment from the Warm Welcome stamp set in Early Espresso ink on the very bottom. Stamp the owl from the Adorable Owls stamp set in Early Espresso Ink on the circle above the sentiment. Color the owl with Stampin’ Blends and the bow tie with the Blushing Bride Stampin’ Write Marker. Add Wink of Stella to the owl for sparkle. Use Stampin’ Seal to add a small folded & flagged piece of either Old Olive or Sahara Sand Twill ribbon to the bottom right of the circle. Use a mini craft stapler to secure the ribbon in place (or you can use multiple glue dots). Tie a small bow with Linen Thread and add it to the circle over the mini staple with glue dots. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the circle to the center of the card front overlapping the transition strip and both panels of Designer Series Paper.

Don’t forget to add a Basic White cardstock inside panel to add stability & to write your message. I also added a small strip of Designer Series Paper and stamped the sentiment from the Warm Welcome stamp set on the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.

Note Cards Measurements:
Basic White Note Card card base – 5″ x 7″ scored at 3 1/2″.
Dainty Flowers DSP panels – 4 3/4″ x 3 3/4″ cut top – 1 3/4″ x 3 1/4″ and bottom- 3″ x 3 1/4″ plus two 1/4″ x 3 3/4″ strips.
Old Olive cs or Crumb Cake cs strip – 1/2″ x 3 1/4″.
Basic White cs inside panel – 4 3/4″ x 3 1/4″.
Old Olive & Sahara Sand Twill ribbon
Linen Thread
DSP = Designer Series Paper
cs = cardstock
