Abstract Beauty Flowing Flowers Card

The January-June 2022 Mini Catalog is retiring and I’ve created another card using three retiring products. I paired the lovely Flowing Flowers stamp set with a gold stripped piece of Abstract Beauty Specialty Designer Series Paper & the Abstract Beauty Cards & Envelopes.

Start with a Abstract Beauty Card & Envelopes card base. Cut a gold striped piece of Abstract Beauty Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) panel and a Basic White cardstock(cs) panel. Glue the striped Specialty DSP to the center of the card base.

Stamp the larger flower image in Polished Pink ink and the small group of three flowers image in the Flirty Flamingo ink from the Flowing Flowers stamp set filling the entire Basic White cs panel. Add Wink of Stella to the flowers for sparkle. Glue the stamped Basic White cs panel to the center of the DSP panel.

Stamp the sentiment from the Flowing Flowers stamp set in Polished Pink ink on Basic White cs. Fussy cut the sentiment out with paper snips. Fussy cut a Gold Foil cs sentiment panel layer. Glue the Basic White cs sentiment panel to the Gold Foil cs panel layer. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the sentiment panels to the lower right side of the card front. I tied a small bow with the Gold Shimmer ribbon and used glue dots to add it above the top left corner of the sentiment panels. I added Brushed Brass Butterflies to the sentiment panels and card front.

I added a Basic White cs inside panel. I stamped the sentiment and flowers from the Flowing Flowers stamp set and added a strip of Specialty DSP to the inside & back on the card to pull the theme through.

Abstract Beauty Specialty DSP panel – 3″ x 6″ panel plus two 1/2″ x 6″ strips.
Basic White cs panel – 2 1/4″ x 6″ .
Basic White cs sentiment panel – (1 3/8″ x 1 3/4″) fussy cut with paper snips.
Gold Foil sentiment panel layer – ( 1 1/2″ x 2″) fussy cut with paper snips.
Basic White cs inside panel – 3 3/4″ x 5 3/4″.
DSP = Designer Series Paper
cs = cardstock
