Sunflower Cheerful Baskets Bundle Card

Welcome and Thank you for visiting Christy’s Stamping Spot! I’m Christy and I’m an Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator in Arizona, USA. I’m excited to be taking part in the Inspirations in Ink Blog Hop with this fabulous group of Demonstrators! This month we are focusing on the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog Cheerful Basket Bundle.

Card Measurements and Supply List for this project are found at the bottom of this blog post.

The Cheerful Basket bundle is a versatile bundle that can be easily paired with other stamp sets from your keeper shelf to create something new and beautiful. I added the lovely sunflowers from the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog Jar of Flowers stamp set with the basket from the Cheerful Basket bundle with a scalloped stitched rectangle and the Timber 3D embossing folder to create this card.

Start with a Pale Papaya cardstock card base. Cut a Pale Papaya cardstock panel, dry emboss it with the Timber 3D embossing folder, and glue it to the card base. Die cut a Basic White cardstock scalloped stitched rectangle with the Scalloped Contour dies. Stamp the sentiment from the Cheerful Basket stamp set in Memento Black ink on the top of the scalloped stitched rectangle. Glue the sentiment scalloped stitched rectangle to the center of the card front.

Stamp the basket image from the Cheerful Basket stamp set in Memento Black ink on Basic White cardstock. Die cut out the basket (or fussy cut with paper snips if you want a closer cut) with the Full Basket dies. Stamp the sunflower image from the Jars of Flowers stamp set in Memento Black ink on Basic White cardstock. Color the basket and both of the sunflower images with Stampin’ Blends. Die cut a Basic Black cardstock basket handle with the Full Basket dies, glue it to the colored basket (on the middle cross piece, and use paper snips to cut off the access handle so that it is flush with the basket.

Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the basket at the bottom slightly to the right side of the card front overlapping the scalloped stitched rectangle. Fussy cut out the sunflower images (I cut one of the images apart to layer and add dimension). Add Wink of Stella to the flower centers for sparkle. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals and glue to add the sunflower images to the card front overlapping the basket. Die cut Old Olive cardstock large sprigs with the Full Basket dies and use glue dots & glue to tuck them under the sunflowers. Tie a small double bow with Linen Thread and add it to the sunflowers with glue dots. Add Brushed Brass Butterflies to the card front and sunflowers.

Don’t forget to add a Basic White cardstock inside panel to write your message. Stamp the sentiment from the Color & Contour stamp set and the sunflowers from the Jars of Flowers stamp set in Memento Black ink on the inside panel. Color the flowers with Stampin’ Blends and add Wink of Stella to the center of the flowers for sparkle.
