Card Measurements and Supply List for this project are found at the bottom of this blog post.

For this week’s Global Design Project #GDP453 color challenge I created a lovely card with the Wildflower Designs bundle and the Distressed Tile 3D embossing folder for a vintage feel.

Start with a Basic Beige cardstock card base. Cut a Pretty In Pink cardstock panel and a Pecan Pie cardstock panel. Dry emboss the Pecan Pie cardstock panel with the Distressed Tile 3D embossing folder. Use a small blending brush to add Pecan Pie ink to the embossed panel and add ink to the edges of the card base & Pretty In Pink cardstock panel. Glue the inked embossed panel to the inked Pretty In Pink cardstock panel.

Die cut a Pecan Pie cardstock large frame, a large Basic Beige cardstock label, a Pretty In Pink cardstock scalloped frame, and a Basic Beige cardstock small label with the Wildflower Designs dies. Dry emboss the large Basic Beige cardstock label with the Distressed Tile 3D embossing folder. Add Pecan Pie ink to the embossed Basic Beige cardstock label and the Pretty In Pink cardstock scalloped frame with a small blending brush. Stamp the flower three times from the Wildflower Designs stamp set in Memento Black ink on the small Basic Beige cardstock label. Color the images with Stampin’ Blends. Stamp the textured image from the Wildflower Designs stamp set in Pecan Pie ink several times over the flower images. Use a small blending brush to add Pecan Pie ink on the edges of the stamped label. Add Wink of Stella to the flowers for sparkle. Glue the Pecan Pie cardstock frame, the inked & embossed Basic Beige cardstock label, and inked scalloped frame to the front panel. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the image label to the center of the card front on the embossed Basic Beige large label & within the scalloped frame. Wrap the built front panel with Linen thread three times and tie a bow slightly left of center of the front panel. Glue the wrapped built panel to the card base.

Stamp the sentiment from the Wildflower Designs stamp set on Basic Beige card stock in Memento Black ink. Fussy cut out the sentiment with paper snips and then use a small blending brush to add Pecan Pie ink on the edges of the sentiment panel. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the sentiment to the slightly right side of the card front overlapping the tied bow, image label, and scalloped frame. Add Adhesive-Backed Textured Dots to the flower centers, sentiment panel, and card front.

Cut a Basic Beige cardstock inside panel. Stamp the flower from the Wildflower Designs stamp set in Memento Black ink off the left side of the inside panel. Stamp the texture image from the Wildflower Designs stamp set in Pecan Pie ink over the flower image. Color the image with Stampin’ Blends and add Wink of Stella for sparkle. Add a strip of embossed Pecan Pie cardstock and stamp the sentiment from the So Sincere stamp set in Memento Black ink to the inside panel to pull the theme through. Glue the inside panel into the card.
