For Week 5 of my 12 Weeks of Halloween I have a sweet rather than spooky wrapped tiny treat box of Hershey nuggets. Making a mummy wrapper is a quick and easy way to dress up our tiny treat boxes and coordinates with the cute mummy image in the Spooktacular Bash stamp set. You can watch the Facebook Live Replay of this project here.
First pull off the film of your Tiny Treat Box and then put it together. Cut the Very Vanilla cs box wrap strip. Crinkle the Very Vanilla cs strip and use a Stamping Sponge to add Gray Granite ink to the cs. Use your Bone Folder to smooth out the sponged Very Vanilla cs strip and wrap it around the tiny treat box – so the overlap is at the top of the box – and then secure with a piece of Tear & Tape.
Die cut out a Gorgeous Grape image label with the Ornate Frames dies. Stamp the mummy image from Spooktacular Bash stamp set in Gray Granite ink on Very Vanilla cs. Color the image with the Stampin’ Blends. Die cut out the colored image with the Ornate Frames.
Attach the Gorgeous Grape cs frame layer to the box wrapper with Tear & Tape. Attach the image to the Gorgeous Grape cs frame with two mini Stampin’ Dimensionals – positioned at the very top and bottom of the image so the ribbon can lay in the middle easily. Then cut a piece of Magnolia Lane white edged linen ribbon (17″), wrap around the box, and then thread under the image to tie a bow on the side of the box. Color Pearls with the Dark Highland Heather Stampin’ Blend and attach them to the image layer.
I hope you enjoyed Week 5 of my 12 Weeks of Halloween – A Wrapped Box of Mummy Chocolates. You can pick up these awesome clear tiny treat boxes and the Spooktacular Bash bundle in my Online Store now – so you can make these sweet treats this Halloween.
