Week 2 of 12 Weeks of Halloween – Spooky Hershey Bar Wraps

My kids loved taking Halloween treats to school and their favorite was a properly dressed Hershey Chocolate Bar with spooky wraps. So when I was coming up with my 12 Weeks of Halloween I knew I had to include this quick and kid approved favorite. You can watch the replay of my Facebook Live here or watch on my YouTube channel here.

Designer Series Paper is a lovely weight to wrap candy bars and I love the Monster Bash DSP. But if you have printer paper handy you can easily make your own.

The lighter weight Stampin’ Up! DSP is perfect for making wrappers. After you cut the DSP to size use a Bone Folder to gently curl the DSP to make fitting it around the candy easier. Use a strip of Tear & Tape on the DSP to attach it to itself and not the candy. And then add a tag and a bow for the finishing touch.

I used the Monster Bash DSP to wrap this XL Hershey Bar.

If you have some printer or copy paper handy- this light weight paper makes a great candy wrap. Just fill the page with your favorite stamped Halloween images to create your own DSP. After you cut the DSP to size use a Bone Folder to gently curl the paper to make fitting it around the candy easier. Use a strip of Tear & Tape on the created DSP to attach it to itself and not the candy. And then add a tag and a bow for the finishing touch.

I used the web and spider from the Wonderfully Wicked stamp set in Smoky Slate and Memento Black ink to create this candy wrapper DSP. I added Wink of Stella to the spider for sparkle and used a sponge dauber to add a bit of Gray Granite ink to finish the look.
Silver Glimmer paper , Whisper White cs, and a small piece of Basic Black Glittered Organdy ribbon make a fun but not overly elaborate tag for these Snack Sized Hershey bars that will most likely end up being discarded during the excitement of munching the sweet treat inside.
For this Regular sized Hershey Bar I created DSP using both the Wonderfully Wicked & Spooktacular Bash stamp sets. I used the Layering Circle Dies for a larger tag and the Ornate Dies with Black Foil. I added rhinestones colored with the Dark Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blend for the Kitty’s eyes.

I hope you enjoyed Week 2 of my 12 Weeks of Halloween and hope you wrap some Hershey bars of your own this Halloween. You can purchase these fun and fabulous Halloween products in my Online Store when the 2019 Holiday Catalog goes live on September 4th.
