Glimmer Gal Team August Sketch Challenge – Wonderfully Wicked

The Glimmer Gal Team August sketch challenge is from
Theresa of
 Theresa’s Treasures.

I am really enjoying the Halloween products in the 2019 Holiday Catalog. For the August Glimmer Gal sketch challenge I used the Monster Bash DSP and the Wonderfully Wicked & Spooktacular Bash stamp sets.

Start with a Crushed Curry cs card base. Cut a Black Foil sheet panel and then dry emboss it with new Hammered Metal 3D embossing folder with the 3D embossing folder plate, and then glue it to card base. Cut the Monster Bash DSP panel and glue it to the embossed Black Foil at an angle.

Cut a Whisper White cs panel. Make a moon template by punching a circle with the 1″ circle punch in scrap cs. Use a sponge dauber to add Crushed Curry ink to the Whisper White cs panel with the template. Stamp the sentiment from the Wonderfully Wicked stamp set in Memento Black ink so it overlaps the moon. Add Wink of Stella to the left side of the moon in a crescent shape.

Stamp one kitty from the Wonderfully Wicked stamp set in Memento Black ink on the bottom of the Whisper White cs panel. To get the reversed image I stamped the kitty on scrap piece of red rubber (I used the punched out rubber middle from the large tea pot from the Tea Time stamp set) huff on the image to make sure it’s moist and then stamp the transferred kitty image on the Whisper White cs panel. If the image isn’t as dark as you would like use the Basic Black Stampin’ Blends to darken the kitty.

Use Snail on the back corners of the stamped Whisper White cs panel to adhere looped Silver Metallic Thread. Add a small flagged Basic Black Scalloped Edge ribbon with glue dots to the back of the left side of the Whisper White cs. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the stamped Whisper White cs panel straight on the card front. Use the Dark Basic Black Stampin’ Blend to color rhinestones and then add them to the card front. Also use the Dark Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blend to color rhinestones to give the kitties green eyes.

Stamp the second sentiment from the Spooktacular Bash stamp set on Very Vanilla cs in Memento Black ink. Fussy cut out the sentiment with Paper Snips and attach it to the bottom right corner of the stamped Whisper White cs panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Don’t forget to add a Very Vanilla cs inside panel to write your message. I stamped the sentiment from the Spooktacular Bash stamp set on the inside panel in Memento Black ink.

I also stamped the kitty & added a strip of Monster Bash DSP to the inside panel and back of the card to pull the theme through.
