Them Bones Suite & Pick Of The Patch Card

I love Halloween and there are some fabulous Halloween themed products in the new September-December 2023 Mini Catalog that goes live on September 6th! The Them Bones Suite includes the Bag of Bones bundle, the Them Bones Designer Series Paper, the Glow-In-The-Dark Specialty Paper, and the Glow-In-The-Dark Bats & Ghosts. The Halloween themed Them Bones Designer Series Paper has several sheets made to be cut apart for card fronts. I used a sheet that shows a grave yard scene for my card.

I adore the Glow-In-The Dark Specialty Paper and used the Reach for the Stars dies to die cut out stars from the Specialty Paper instead of using the Glow-In-The-Dark Bats & Ghosts on this card. The Bag of Bones bundle includes a large variety of images (23) & dies (31) to create all kinds of spooky projects! The Bag of Bones dies are so popular that they won’t be available until September 11th – so when this bundle becomes available don’t wait and get it as soon as you can!! I also created a few pumpkins & Jack-O-Lanterns with the new Pick of the Patch punch bundle to add to my card.

Start with a Starry Sky cardstock base. Cut a Pumpkin Pie cardstock panel and a Them Bones Designer Series Paper panel. Glue the panels together and then to the card base. Stamp the skeleton & cat image from the Bag of Bones stamp set in Smoky Slate ink on the Glow-In-The-Dark Specialty Paper. Die cut out the images with the Bag of Bones dies. Glue the skeleton to the bottom right of the card front and use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the cat to the top left of the printed tombstone. Die cut Glow-In-The-Dark Specialty Paper stars with the Reach for the Stars dies and glue them into the sky at the top of the card front.

Stamp two medium pumpkins from the Pick of the Patch stamp set in Pumpkin Pie ink on Basic White cardstock (be sure you note the direction of the punch before stamping). Stamp the face image from the Pick of the Patch stamp set in Memento Black ink on both of the stamped pumpkin. Stamp a small pumpkin from the Pick of the Patch stamp set in 2nd generation (stamped off) Pumpkin Pie ink on Basic White cardstock. Stamp three stems from the Pick of the Patch stamp set in Cajun Craze ink on Basic White cardstock. Punch out the Jack O’ Lanterns and stems with the Pick of the Patch Builder Punch and fussy cut out the smaller pumpkin with paper snips. Glue the stems to the pumpkins and then glue one Jack O’ Lantern and the small pumpkin to the card front. Add Wink of Stella to the pumpkins for sparkle.

Cut a Pumpkin Pie cardstock inside panel layer and a Basic White cardstock inside panel to write your message. Stamp the sentiment from the Bag of Bones stamp set in Memento Black ink on the Basic White cardstock panel. Glue the panels together and then glue them inside the card. Add a strip of Designer Series Paper, a punched Jack O’ Lantern, and a Glow-In-The-Dark Specialty Paper star to the bottom of the inside panel. Add Wink of Stella to the Jack O’ Lantern for sparkle.

I also add a strip of Pumpkin Pie cardstock & Designer Series Paper, stamped the Jack O’ Lantern, and sentiment on the back of the card to pull the theme through.

Glow-In-The-Dark Specialty Paper skeleton & cat – die cut with the Bag of Bones dies.

Basic White cs pumpkins & stems – punched with the Pick of the Patch Builder punch and fussy cut with paper snips.
