I was happy with how this Painted Poppies Bundle in Night of Navy and Seaside Spray card turned out. I love the blue Stampin’ Blends colored flowers paired with the lovely script sentiment of the Sale -A- Bration Happy Birthday To You stamp set.
Start with a Seaside Spray cs card base. Cut the Night of Navy cs panel and Very Vanilla cs panel. Dry emboss the Night of Navy cs panel with the Subtle 3D embossing folder and glue it to the card base.
Stamp the leaf from the Painted Poppies stamp set in Night of Navy ink on the Very Vanilla cs panel in an oval shape. Stamp the small texture stamp in 2nd generation Night of Navy ink on the stamped leaves, then use the light Seaside Spray Stampin’ Blend to color the leaves in. Use a sponge dauber to add Seaside Spray ink to the edges of the panel. Glue the stamped panel to the card front.
Stamp 2 big flowers and 4 small flowers in Night of Navy ink on Very Vanilla cs scrap. Use the Stampin’ Blends to color the flowers and add Wink of Stella to the flower centers for sparkle.
Die cut out all the flowers with the Painted Labels dies. Die cut out a Seaside Spray cs swirl with the Painted Label dies. Die cut 2 Night of Navy lace edge pieces. Punch out Night of Navy cs and Vellum cs leaves with Leaf punch. Use the Take Your Pick Tool to add a crease in the leaves and then use your fingers to pinch them to give them dimension.
Glue the Seaside Spray cs swirl to the center of the circle of leaves on the Very Vanilla cs. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals and glue dots to attach & layer the die cut flowers and leaves to the card front.
Cut the Very Vanilla cs sentiment panel. Stamp the sentiment from the Sale-A-Bration Happy Birthday To You stamp set in Night of Navy ink on the Very Vanilla cs panel. Use a sponge dauber to add Seaside Spray ink to the sentiment panel’s edging. Glue a Night of Navy cs lace edge piece to the center bottom of the sentiment panel. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment to the card front overlapping the flowers at the center bottom of the card front. Add rhinestones to the card front and sentiment panel for sparkle.
Don’t forget to add an Very Vanilla cs inside panel to write your message. I stamped the sentiment from the Sale-A-Bration Sending You Thoughts stamp set on the inside panel. I also added a die cut colored flower and punched leaf to the inside panel and a Night of Navy cs die cut lace edged piece to the back of the card to pull the theme through.

Hi Christy,
I love the fact that you used Blue for your Poppies instead of the usual Red. Creative, unusual and stunning.
Thank you Jackie! I love coloring with the Stampin’ Blends – and I couldn’t resist trying Seaside Spray and Night of Navy as they’re one of my favorite color combos😊
