Tea Boutique May 2022 Customer Thank You Blog Hop Card

Welcome and Thank you for visiting Christy’s Stamping Spot! I’m Christy and I’m an Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator in Arizona, USA. I’m excited to be taking part in Bruno and Kylie Bertucci’s Demonstrator Training Blog Hop with this fabulous group of Demonstrators from around the world!

Each month I make & send Customer Thank You Cards for everyone who orders from my Online Store. This month I created a card using the Cup of Tea stamp set, the Tea Boutique Cards & Envelopes, and the Tea Boutique Designer Series Paper (DSP). These elements from the Tea Boutique Suite from the new 2022-2023 Annual Catalog are bright & cheerful and incorporates the new 2022-2024 In Colors.

Start with a Starry Sky Tea Boutique Card & Envelopes card base. Cut a Tea Boutique DSP panel and then cut it in half (bottom is 3″ and top is 2 1/4″). Glue both panels to the card front – flipping the top panel so that the tea cups and flowers side shows. Cut a Starry Sky strip, dry emboss it with the Gingham Embossing Folder, and then glue it across the card front overlapping both panels as the transition.

Die cut a Basic White cardstock stitched rectangle with the Stitched Rectangles Dies. Stamp the sentiment from the Cup of Tea stamp set in Starry Sky ink slightly to the left side of the stitched rectangle. Fussy cut out a teapot and a tea cup from the Tea Boutique DSP and glue them onto the right side of the stitched rectangle.

Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the stitched rectangle to the card front overlapping the embossed transition strip. Add Iridescent rhinestones to the stitched rectangle and card front.

Stamp the sentiment from the Cup of Tea stamp set in Starry Sky to the inside panel leaving room to write your message. I also added a strip of Tea Boutique DSP to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.

Starry Sky Tea Boutique Cards & Envelopes card base – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″.
Tea Boutique DSP panel – 5 1/4″ x 4″ cut in half at 3″x 4″ for bottom and leaving the top at 2 1/4″ x 4″.
Embossed Starry Sky cs strip – 1″ x 4 1/4″.
Basic White cs stitched rectangle – (1 7/8″) die cut with the Stitched Rectangle dies.
Tea Boutique DSP teapot & tea cup – fussy cut with paper snips.
Tea Boutique DSP strips – two 1/2″ x 4″ strips for inside & back.
DSP = Designer Series Paper
cs = cardstock
