I couldn’t wait to play with the new You’re the Peach Suite. I created a lovely You’re A Peach Thanks card for the Global Design Project Sketch Challenge this week.
Start with a Pale Papaya cs card base. Cut a You’re a Peach Designer Series Paper panel and glue it to the card front. Cut a Pale Papaya cs scalloped circle, a Vellum circle, and a Basic White cs circle. Dry emboss the Vellum cs circle with the Bark 3D embossing folder.
Ink the peach image from the Sweet as a Peach stamp set in Pale Papaya ink and add Calypso Coral ink to the stamp with a Stampin’ Dauber and then stamp the image on the Basic White cs circle. Stamp the leaves from the Sweet as a Peach stamp set in Pear Pizzazz ink above the peach.
Use glue to add the embossed Vellum cs circle to the Pale Papaya cs scalloped circle. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the stamped Basic White cs circle to the Pale Papaya cs scalloped circle. Add the circles to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Stamp the flowers from the Sweet as a Peach stamp set in Calypso Coral ink and die cut them out with the Peach dies. Add Wink of Stella to the flowers for extra sparkle. Die cut Pear Pizzazz cs leaves with the Peach dies. Add the flowers to the Basic White cs circle overlapping the peach image with glue, glue dots, and glue.
Cut a Basic White cs panel. Stamp the sentiment from the Sweet as a Peach stamp set in Balmy Blue ink on the panel. Use glue dots and two stacked Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the sentiment to the card front overlapping the circles and DSP panel. Add Elegant Faceted Gems to the flower centers and to the card front.
Don’t forget to add a Basic White cs inside panel to write your message. Stamp the sentiment from the Sweet as a Peach stamp set in Balmy Blue ink and add die cut flowers & leaves to the inside panel. I also added a DSP strip to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.
