Card Measurements, Supply List, and printable PDF tutorial for this project are found at the bottom of this blog post.

The retiring Season of Fun Host stamp set from the July-December 2021 is super cute! For Day 6 of my 12 Days of Christmas I have a fun Christmas card created with an image from the Season of Fun stamp set, a piece of the retiring Sweet Stockings Designer Series Paper, and the sentiment & die cut snowflakes from the retiring Merry Snowflakes bundle in the non-traditional Christmas colors of Flirty Flamingo and Pool Party.

Start with a Flirty Flamingo cs card base. Cut a Sweet Stockings DSP panel. Die cut Flirty Flamingo cs stitched snowflakes with the Stitched Snowflakes dies.

Glue the die cut snowflakes around the edges of the DSP panel creating a frame and use paper snips to cut off the excess. Glue the DSP panel to the card front.

Die cut a Shimmery White cs stitched scalloped rectangle with the Stitched So Sweetly dies. Stamp the little girl with the tree image from the Seasons of Fun stamp set in Memento Black ink. Add a light Pool Party ink water color wash within the stitched square and the stamped image with Water Painters. Let completely dry. Then color the image with Stampin’ Blends. I used the cap of my Wink of Stella to add splatters of glitter to the stitched scalloped rectangle. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the stitched scalloped rectangle to the center of the card front. Stamp the tree’s star a second time on a scrap of Shimmery White cs and color it with the Dark Daffodil Stampin’ Blend, fussy cut it out with paper snips, and add it to the card front with a glue dot. Add Shimmery Crystal Effects to the fussy cut star (be sure you let it completely dry).

Add a Pool Party ink water color wash to a scrap of Shimmery White cs. When it’s dry stamp the sentiment from the Merry Snowflakes stamp set in Memento Black ink on the scrap. Fussy cut out the sentiment with paper snips. Use a glue dot to add Pool Party Striped Grosgrain ribbon to the back of the sentiment. Use glue dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the sentiment to the card front overlapping the stitched scalloped rectangle and DSP. Add Elegant Faceted Gems to the card front.

Add a Shimmery White cs inside panel to write your message. Stamp the sentiment from the Merry Snowflake stamp set, add a strip of DSP, and a die cut snowflake (and a stamped snowflake on the back) to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.
