Stampin’ Up! Sale-A-Bration 2021 Butterfly Hello Friend Sneak Peek Card

The January-June 2021 Mini Catalog goes live and Sale-A-Bration begins on Tuesday, January 5th! I have a lovely Sneak Peek card to share featuring the butterfly from the Sale-A-Bation stamp set A Touch of Ink (free with a $100 order before tax and shipping) and the Sale-A-Bration Flowers & Field Designer Series Paper (free with a $50 order before tax and shipping).

Start with a Misty Moonlight cs card base. Cut a Sale-A-Bration Flowers & Field DSP panel. Wrap the panel with a piece of Misty Moonlight/Silver Baker’s Twine (from the Flowers of Every Season ribbon combo pack) using Stampin’ Seal to secure the ends to the back of the panel and glue it to the card base.

Die cut a Whisper White cs stitched circle with the Stitched Shapes dies. Stamp the wings inside image from the A Touch of Ink stamp set in 2nd generation (stamped off) Misty Moonlight ink on the Whisper White cs stitched circle. Then stamp over the inside image with the butterfly image in Memento Black ink. Then stamp the sentiment from the A Touch of Ink stamp set in Memento Black ink beside the butterfly at the top right of the stitched circle. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach the stamped stitched circle to the top left of the card front overlapping the wrapped twine.

Add Wink of Stella to the butterfly’s wings for sparkle. Tie a small bow with the Misty Moonlight/Silver Baker’s Twine and add it to the right of stitched circle slightly under the wrapped twine with glue dots. Add rhinestones along the bottom right side of the stitched circle.

Don’t forget to add a Whisper White cs inside panel to write your message. I added a strip of DSP to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.

I also stamped the sentiment and butterfly on the back of the card.

Basic White cs inside panels – 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″.
DSP = Designer Series Paper
