I love movies and don’t know how I missed the Christmas Means More stamp set in the August-December 2020 Mini Catalog. Luckily, I saw Sandra Hernandez’s Elf & Grinch tags using this set and knew I had to CASE her creations! It took me a little longer than I’d planned to make them but even with my broken wrist (my wonderful Hubby got me an electric die cutting machine to use while I’m on the mend) I finally was able to make these adorable tags!
Cut your Bumblebee cs, Garden Green cs, and Whisper White cs strips and punch their tops with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch. The Bumblebee cs tag (cut to the length of tag you want) is your base. Use your paper snips to make the Whisper White cs tag collar by sniping down from the edge of the scallop to snip off the ends. Then snip up the middle to where you want the middle point and then cut the W the from the edges to make it even. Glue the Whisper White cs collar piece to the Garden Green cs tag. Then stamp the sentiment from the Christmas Means More stamp set with Versamark – then applied the White embossing powder – gently tap the back to knock off the excess – then use your Heat Tool to melt the powder. Then use the Tailored Tag punch to trim the bottom of the shirt to the length you want depending how big you want the tag and where you want the ribbon belt to be. Then wrap your tag with the Early Espresso Faux Faux Suede Trim- if you want a black belt use your Basic Black Dark Stampin’ Blend to color the trim – with an Antiqued Slide and secure the ends with Stampin’ Seal on the back of the Garden green cs tag. Then glue the Garden Green cs tag to the Bumblebee cs base tag.
Die cut two Garden Green cs circles and a Bumblebee cs circle with the Layering Circles Dies. Glue them together. Use your paper snips to cut it in half and then make the hat with two equal sides by using the first to cut the second. Die cut a small Real Red cs feather with the Sounds of the Season dies. Use a glue dot to attach it the back of one hat piece and then use glue to sandwich it between the two hat pieces to form the hat. Punch a small hole with a hole punch. Cut a piece of Bumblebee ribbon & loop it through the top of the tag & through the hole in the hat. Tie the threaded loop into a knot.
I hope you enjoyed my CASEd Elf tags. Don’t forget about the Year-End Closeout Sale of August-December 2020 Mini Catalog retiring products in my Online Store and be sure to check out the Quite Curvy Variety Bundle products that are available now.
