Stampin' Up! Hues of Happiness DSP Sneak Peek Cards

We are less than a week away from the new 2022-2023 Annual Catalog going live. I have another sneak peek card – this time spotlighting the gorgeous Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper and the Happiness Abounds stamp set. Instead of a regular cardstock card base, I’ve used a piece of the Hues of Happiness DSP. You can use Designer Series Paper for card bases but you do need to add some cardstock layers to it to give it stability so your card will stand up. I also made this card in both Metric (cm – the taller card) and Imperial (inches – shorter card) measurements. There are real differences in A2 (inches) cards and A4 (cm) cards- its not a straight conversion. Start with a Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper card base. Cut a Granny Apple Green cs inside panel layer and a Thick Basic White cs inside panel. Glue the Granny Apple Green cs inside panel layer to the inside of the card base for stability.

Die cut a Granny Apple Green cs and Thick Basic White cs frame with the Fabulous Frames dies. You will only need the Granny Apple Green cs outer frame and the Thick Basic White cs inner frame. Glue the Granny Apple Green cs frame to the card base front.

Stamp the sentiment from the Happiness Abounds stamp set in Gorgeous Grape ink across the bottom of the Thick Basic White cs inner frame. Stamp the flowers & leaves from the Happiness Abounds stamp set in Gorgeous Grape ink on the Thick Basic White cs inner frame panel. Color the flowers & leaves with Stampin’ Blends and add Wink of Stella to the flowers for sparkle. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the Thick Basic White cs inner frame into the Granny Apple Green cs outer frame on the card front. Add Glossy Dots to the Thick Basic White cs inner frame.

Stamp the sentiment, flower, & leaves from the Happiness Abounds stamp set in Gorgeous Grape ink on the Thick Basic White cs inside panel. Color the flower & leaves and Wink of Stella to the flower for sparkle.

I also added the Stampin’ Up! copyright stamp from the new Limited Edition stamp set to adhere to the Angel Policy.

Add a strip of DSP to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.

Granny Apple Green cs frame -(9.3 cm) large frame die cut with the Fabulous Frames dies.
Thick Basic White cs inside frame panel (10.8 cm x 7.6 cm) large frame die cut out with the Fabulous Frames dies.
Granny Apple Green cs inside panel layer – 14.2 cm x 9.8 cm.
Thick Basic White cs inside panel – 13.9 cm x 9.5.

Imperial:
Hues of Happiness DSP card base – 11″ x 4 1/4″ scored at 5 1/2″ plus two 1/2″ x 4″ strips.
Granny Apple Green cs frame – (3 3/4″) large frame die cut with the Fabulous Frames dies.
Thick Basic White cs inside frame panel (4 1/4″ x 3″) large frame die cut out with the Fabulous Frames dies.
Granny Apple Green cs inside panel layer – 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″.
Thick Basic White cs inside panel – 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″.
