Stampin’ Up!® Elegantly Said Thank You Card

The Simply Elegant Suite from the new 2021-2023 Annual Catalog is beautiful! The gorgeous Specialty Designer Series Paper’s metallic accents make making lovely cards with a decadent feel easy.

Start with a Basic Gray cs card base. Cut a Basic White cs panel, dry emboss it with the Tasteful Textiles 3D embossing folder, and then glue the embossed panel to the card base. Cut three panels of the Simply Elegant Specialty DSP and glue them to the card front – start with the middle panel and then add the left & right side panels.

Cut a Basic Gray cs strip. Wrap the strip with Gray Granite Shimmer Ribbon using Stampin’ Seal to secure the ends on the back of the strip. Glue the wrapped strip to slightly above center across the card front.

Punch a Basic White cs sentiment tag with the Elegant Tag punch. Stamp the sentiment from the Elegantly Said stamp set on the punched tag with Basic Gray ink. Punch a Copper Foil bottom layer (3/4″) and glue it to the bottom of the stamped tag. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the tag to the card front overlapping the wrapped strip.

Tie a small bow with the Gray Granite Shimmer ribbon and use glue dots to attach the bow to the top of the tag in line with the wrapped ribbon. Add Champagne rhinestones to the sentiment tag and the card front above the Basic Gray cs strip.

Don’t forget to add an inside panel to write your message. Stamp the sentiment and floral image from the Elegantly Said stamp set in Basic Gray ink. I also added an embossed strip of Basic White cs to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.

Embossed Basic White cs panel – 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ and two strips 1/2″ x 4 5/8″.
Simply Elegant Specialty DSP panels – three 1 1/2″ x 4″ panels.
Basic Gray cs strip – 3/4″ x 5 1/2″
Basic White cs sentiment tag – punched with the Elegant Tag Punch.
Copper Foil tag layer – punched with the Elegant Tag Punch.
