Stampin’ Up!® Curvy Autumn Life is Beautiful Card

This week’s Global Design Project is a fabulous fall color challenge. I chose to use the lovely Life is Beautiful stamp set with the upcoming Curvy Dies and the Ornate Floral 3D embossing folder to make my Autumn card.

Start with a Cajun Craze cs card base. Cut a Mint Macaron cs panel, a Pumpkin Pie cs panel, and a Thick Whisper White cs panel. Dry emboss the Mint Macaron cs with the Ornate Floral 3D embossing folder and glue it to the card base. Die cut the floral edge in the Thick Whisper White cs with Curvy Dies.

Stamp the tree image from the Life is Beautiful stamp set in Cajun Craze ink off the right side of the Thick Whisper White cs. Stamp the dot leaves in full and 2nd generation strength in both Pumpkin Pie ink and Mint Macaron ink over the tree. Glue the Pumpkin Pie cs panel to the stamped & die cut Thick Whisper White cs panel.

Wrap the Pumpkin Pie cs & Thick Whisper White cs panels with Linen Thread three times and tie a bow. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach the wrapped panels to the card base flush on the right side of the embossed Mint Macaron cs.

Punch a Thick Whisper White cs and a Pumpkin Pie cs label with the Story Label Punch. Stamp the sentiment from the Life is Beautiful stamp set in Cajun Craze ink and then the dots image in 2nd generation (stamped off) in Pumpkin Pie ink over the stamped sentiment. Cut the Pumpkin Pie cs label in half. Glue the two halves of the Pumpkin Pie cs labels to the back of the Thick Whisper White cs stamped label. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the sentiment labels. Add a few pumpkin colored from the Sequins For Everyone with glue dots to the tree top to add sparkle and dimension.

Don’t forget to add a Thick Whisper White cs panel to the inside of your card to write your message. Stamp the sentiment from Beautiful Autumn stamp set in Cajun Craze ink and then stamp the dots image from the Life is Beautiful stamp set in 2nd generation Pumpkin Pie ink over the sentiment. I also added a strip of embossed Mint Macaron cs to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.

Cajun Craze cs card base – 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
Embossed Mint Macaron cs panel – 5 1/4″ x 4″ plus two 1/2″ x 4″ strips.
Pumpkin Pie cs panel – 5 1/4″ x 2″
Thick Whisper White cs panel – edge die cut leaving about 3 1/4″ for the stamped tree image.
Thick Whisper White cs sentiment label – punched with the Story Label Punch.
Pumpkin Pie cs label layer – punched with the Story Label Punch cut in half.
Thick Whisper White cs inside panel – 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″
