Stampin’ Up!® Classic Birthday Fun-Fold Card

This month you can order the awesome Quite Curvy Bundle (the Quite Curvy stamp set & the Curvy Dies) from the upcoming January-June 2021 Mini Catalog and the wonderful Curvy Christmas stamp set & Classic Christmas 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper pack that is only available until January 4th. With these curvy themed products you can add fun and beautiful detail to your projects this season. For this project I used the fabulous Classic Christmas DSP and the Curvy Christmas stamp set with the Happiest of Birthdays stamp set to create this lovely Shaded Spruce Fun-Fold Birthday Card.

Start with a Shaded Spruce cs card base. Stamp the branch from the Curvy Christmas stamp set in full and 2nd generation Shaded Spruce ink on the card front (2 3/4″).

Cut the Whisper White cs sentiment panels and the Shaded Spruce Classic Christmas DSP sentiment panel. Stamp the sentiment from the Happiest of Birthdays stamp set in Shaded Spruce ink on the smaller Whisper White cs panel. Glue the stamped panel onto the DSP panel and then glue them both onto the larger Whisper White cs panel. Cut the sentiment back Classic Christmas DSP panel and glue it on the back of the sentiment panels (so that the DSP in on the back of the left side). Use Stampin’ Dimensionals on the right side of the sentiment panels (leaving the center clear for the ribbon) centered so that it hangs over the card front.

Cut a Whisper White cs inside panel and Curvy Christmas DSP inside panel. Stamp the sentiment from the Peaceful Moments in Shaded Spruce ink on the Whisper White cs panel and them glue it to the left side of the inside of the card. Then glue the DSP panel flush to the right side of the inside of the card.

Thread a piece of Whisper White Faux Linen Ribbon (from the Flowers for Every Season Combo pack) under the sentiment panels and around the card. Add a small strip of Tear & Tape to the center of the back of the card to hold down the ribbon and a piece of Tear & Tape in the center of the back of the sentiment DSP panel to attach the other end of the ribbon, then tie the ribbon in a bow to close the card. Add Artistry Blooms Sequins to the Whisper White cs sentiment panel.

I also stamped the sentiment & branch image and added a strip of DSP to the back of the card to pull the theme through.
