Stampin’ Up! Awesome Otters Sea Diorama Card

There is less than a week left of Sale-A-Bration and your chance to get the Sale-A-Bration Awesome Otters stamp set and the Sale-A-Bration Simply Marbleous Designer Series Paper pack. I created this fun card with layers of the Simply Marbleous DSP with the Layering Diorama dies, a layer with the Sea Dies, and an adorable otter from the Awesome Otters stamp set.

Start with a Pool Party cardstock card base. Die cut three Simply Marbleous DSP panel layers with the Layering Diorama dies and glue them to the card base. Die cut a Just Jade cs panel scene with the Sea Dies. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the panel to the card front.

Die cut multiple Just Jade cs sea leaves with the Sea dies. Stamp the sentiment from the On The Horizon stamp set on Basic White cs in Memento Black ink and then use your paper trimmer to closely cut sentiment out. Attach the sentiment panel to the bottom left side of the card front. Add die cut Just Jade sea leaves around the sentiment up the left side of the card front and across the bottom.

Stamp the swimming otter from the Awesome Otters stamp set in Memento Black ink on Basic White cs. Color the otter with Stampin’ Blends and add Wink of Stella to the otter’s eyes & the fish for extra sparkle. Fussy cut out the otter with paper snips and use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the otter in the center of the card front. Add Genial Gems to the card front around the sentiment panel and in the bubble holes in the Just Jade cs sea die scene.

Don’t forget to add a Basic White cs inside panel to write your message. Stamp the sentiment from the In The Moment stamp set in Memento Black ink, add a piece of a Just Jade cs die cut Sea Die scene, and a strip of DSP to the bottom and back of the card to pull the theme through.

Pool Party cs card base – 11″ x 4 1/4″ scored at 5 1/2″.
Simply Marbleous DSP panels – three 4″ x 5 1/4″ die cut with the Layering Diorama dies plus two 1/2″ x 4″ strips.
Just Jade cs sea scene panel – two 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ die cut with the Sea Dies – one front panel and one cut apart with paper snips for the inside panel.
Basic White cs sentiment panel – cut closely with paper trimmer about 7/8″ x 1 3/4″ .
Just Jade cs sea leaves – die cut with the Sea Dies.
Basic White cs otter – fussy cut with paper snips.
Basic White cs inside panel – 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″.
