I am loving this awesome So Many Stars bundle. After seeing the Stampin’ Up! Youtube video of a Mercury Glass Acetate star card – I knew I wanted to make one of my own.
Start with a Night of Navy cs card base. Cut the Seaside Spray cs and the Whisper White cs panel. Glue the Seaside Spray cs panel to the Night of Navy card base.
Stamp the more solid star spray from the So Many Stars stamp set in Pacific Point ink twice across the Whisper White cs panel (from the top right corner to the bottom left corner). Stamp a small star from the So Many Stars stamp set in Silvery Shimmer Delicata Metallic ink several times around the stamped Pacific Point stars.
Die cut a Silver Glimmer paper and a Pacific Point star swirl with the Stitched Stars dies. Gently remove the star pieces from the swirls and keep them to add to the card front later. Die cut a small star (but larger than the ones from the star swirl) in Pacific Point cs. Use the Paper Snips to cut the Silver Glimmer paper star swirl in half and then use glue to add the swirls over the stamped stars on the Whisper White cs panel.
Die cut a Pacific Point cs and Mercury Glass Designer Acetate medium star with the Stitched Stars dies and use glue dots to adhere the acetate star to the Pacific Point star. Then use Stampin Dimensionals to adhere them to the Whisper White cs panel slightly centered to the left – making sure that you space the Stampin’ Dimensionals so the ribbon freely slides under the stitched star.
Stamp the sentiment from the So Many Stars stamp set in Night of Navy on Whisper White cs. Punch out the sentiment with the Story Label punch so the sentiment is centered. Use the Paper Snips to snip off the top and bottom of the Whisper White cs label. Punch out a Pacific Point cs label layer with the Story Label Punch. Glue the snipped Whisper White cs sentiment label on the Pacific Point cs label. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment labels to the bottom left side of the card front overlapping the silver glimmer star swirl slightly.
Cut a piece of Seaside Spray Metallic ribbon and slide it under the stitched Mercury Glass star, wrap it around the Whisper White cs panel, and tie it a bow to the left side of the stitched star. Use glue to adhere the wrapped Whisper White cs panel to the card base. Add the Pacific Point cs and Silver Glimmer die cut stars to the card front with glue dots.
Don’t forget to add a Whisper White cs inside panel to write your message.
I also stamped the sentiment from the Christmas Rose stamp set in Night of Navy & the stars from the So Many Stars stamp set on the inside panel and the same sentiment and a star in the Delicata Silvery Shimmer Metallic ink on the back of the card to pull the theme through.

What is a Story label punch? I cannot identify it and I have stamped for years. Where did you find it?
Thank you,
Jan
Hi Jan,
So sorry – somehow the Story Label punch (150076 $18) got missed in the supply list. If you look now I have added the direct link in – so you can find it in my Online Store. Thank you so much for letting me know. I love this punch. On this project I sniped the top and bottom to make the punched sentiment smaller. Let me know if I can help you further.
