Sale-A-Bration Adorable Owls Sneak Peek Card

The upcoming January-February 2023 Sale-A-Bration Adorable Owls stamp set is super cute and fabulous to color. I used this stamp set to create my first Sale-A-Bration 2023 sneak peek card! I fussy cut out the sweet little owl and paired him with a lovely Perfectly Penciled Designer Series Paper panel, that I colored the backside with Stampin’ Blends using the light bleed through to add a touch of color.

Start with Real Red cardstock card base. Cut a Crumb Cake cardstock panel and a Perfectly Penciled Designer Series Paper panel.

Color in the white stripes on the Perfectly Penciled Designer Series Paper panel with the Light Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends so it bleeds through.

Turn the colored Perfectly Penciled Designer Series Paper panel over and glue it to the Crumb Cake cardstock panel. Wrap the panels twice (separate pieces) with Real Red Double-Stitched Satin ribbon and use Stampin’ Seal to secure the ribbons to the back of the panels. Glue the wrapped panels to the card front.

Die cut a Real Red cardstock stitched circle, a Basic White cardstock stitched circle, and a Basic White cardstock stitched banner with the Stylish Shapes dies. Stamp the sentiment from the Adorable Owls stamp set in Early Espresso ink on the Basic White cardstock stitched banner. Glue the Basic White cardstock stitched circle to the the Real Red cardstock stitched circle and use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add them to the right side of the card front overlapping the wrapped ribbon. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals and glue to add the sentiment banner to the top left of the stitched circles overlapping the wrapped ribbon.

Stamp the owl from the Adorable Owls stamp set in Early Espresso ink on Basic White cardstock. Color the owl with Stampin’ Blends and add Wink of Stella to the owl’s bow tie & eyes for sparkle. Use paper snips to fussy cut out the owl and then use glue to add the owl to the bottom right of the stitched circles. Tie a small bow with the Real Red Double-Stitched Satin ribbon and use glue dots to add it to the right side of the stitched circles overlapping the wrapped ribbons. Add Rustic Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots to the Basic White cardstock stitched circle.

Don’t forget to add a Basic White cardstock inside panel to write your message. Stamp the sentiment from the Adorable Owls stamp set in Early Espresso ink and add a colored Designer Series Paper strip to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.

Real Red stitched circle – (3″) die cut with with the Stylish Shapes dies.
Basic White cs stitched circle – (2 1/2″) die cut with with the Stylish Shapes dies.
Basic White cs sentiment banner – die cut with with the Stylish Shapes dies.
Basic White cs owl – fussy cut with paper snips.
