Parisian Blossoms Globe

This week’s Global Design Project reminded me of the fabulous 2019 Holiday Catalog product the Snow Globe Scenes dies that carried over and is still available. I paired it with the gorgeous Parisian Blossoms Specialty Designer Series Paper to make my #GDP234 card.

Start with a Cherry Cobbler cs card base. Cut a Whisper White cs panel and a Parisian Blossoms Specialty DSP panel.

Die cut out the globe cut out with the Snow Globes Dies in your Parisian Blossoms Specialty DSP.

Cut the Whisper White cs globe backer panel and dry emboss it with the Parisian Flourish 3D embossing folder. Fussy cut out a Eiffel Tower and 6 flowers from the Parisian Blossoms Specialty DSP.

Use the snow globe shaker dome to make sure you position the fussy cut Eiffel Tower in the right place and that the the whole embossed Whisper White cs panel will be covered by the top Parisian Blossoms Specialty DSP panel.

I centered the dome and positioned the top of the dome flush to the top of embossed Whisper White cs panel. I then used a pen to mark the outside of the dome on the embossed Whisper White cs so everything is positioned right.

Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach the Eiffel Tower and glue the flowers to the embossed Whisper White cs panel. Add the white sequins to the top of the Eiffel Tower in a small pile.

Remove the dome’s adhesive and firmly press the dome down against the embossed Whisper White cs to seal the dome over the Eiffel Tower, flowers and sequins – making sure that the sequins are in the center. Pull off the outer adhesive and add glue around the outside of the dome on the embossed Whisper White cs.

Position the Parisian Blossoms Specialty DSP over the dome and glue the embossed Whisper White cs panel to the back of the DSP.

Glue the Parisian Blossoms Specialty DSP to the Whisper White cs panel. Die cut a Cherry Cobbler cs globe base with the Snow Globe dies. Die cut a Champagne Foil globe base overlay with the Snow Globe dies. Glue the Champagne Foil overlay to the Cherry Cobbler cs globe base. Glue the globe bases to the the bottom of the dome.

Wrap the panel with the Whisper White Crinkle Seam Binding ribbon and tie a small bow under the right side of the globe. Glue the wrapped panel to the card base.

Stamp the sentiment on Whisper White cs in Cherry Cobbler ink. Use paper snips to fussy cut the sentiment flagging one end. Fussy cut a Cherry Cobbler cs sentiment layer and flag the end. Glue the sentiment panel to the Cherry Cobbler cs sentiment layer. Use the Bone Folder to gently curl the sentiment layers.

Use glue dots and stacked (two and a third on top between the two) Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment layers to the card front waving down from the right corner of the globe base below the ribbon. Use glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals to add fussy cut DSP flowers around the top of the sentiment flagged banner and the right side of the globe. Add Champagne rhinestones to the flower centers.

Don’t forget to add a Whisper White cs inside panel to write your message. I stamped the sentiment and added a strip of Specialty DSP to inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.
