I just adore the Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper. I wanted to make a card that was larger than a tag but smaller than a regular sized card perfect for nestling into a gift basket. I started by cutting a scrap of Garden Impressions DSP into three panels and then building the card around them.
Use Whisper White cs to make a card base. Cut a Night of Navy panel and adhere it with glue onto the card base. Then emboss a So Saffron panel with the Subtle embossing folder and adhere it with glue to the Night of Navy panel. Glue the 3 Garden Impressions DSP panels to the embossed So Saffron panel layer. TIP – Remember to keep the orientation of the DSP so that the design on the panels line up. First test the lay out of the panels before gluing them down to be sure of the spacing and glue the middle panel in last.
Stamp the sentiment from the Sale-A-Bration Part of My Story Cling stamp set in Night of Navy ink on Whisper White cs and then punch it out with the Sale-A-Bration Coordination Story Label Punch. Also punch out a So Saffron label layer with the Story Label Punch. Snip the So Saffron label in half and glue it to the back of the stamped Whisper White label. Attach the sentiment label layers to the center of the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. To finish the card add four rhinestones colored with the dark Night of Navy Stampin’ Blend to the sentiment label layer. I also added strips of DSP to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.
