Nests Of Winter DSP Christmas Card

I love the gorgeous bird images in the new Nests of Winter Designer Series Paper from the September-December 2024 Mini Catalog. I fussy cut out the birds and branches from a sheet of the Designer Series Paper and paired it with the sentiments from the Peaceful Season bundle to create a lovely Christmas card.

Start with a Gray Granite cardstock card base. Cut a Cherry Cobbler cardstock panel and a Nests of Winter Designer Series Paper panel. Glue the panels to the card base.

Fussy cut out birds and branches from the Nests of Winter Designer Series Paper. Add Wink of Stella to the flowers and berries for sparkle. Glue the fussy cut Designer Series Paper birds & branches across the top of the card front. Punch a Basic White cardstock and a Gray Granite cardstock label with the Heartfelt Hexagon Punch. Stamp the sentiment from the Peaceful Season stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink at the top of the punched Basic White cardstock label. Use paper snips to cut the Gray Granite cardstock label in half. Use glue to add the halved label to the back of the stamped Basic White cardstock label. Glue the built labels flush with the left side of the Designer Series Paper panel on the card front.

Die cut a Gray Granite cardstock sentiment layer and a Cherry Cobbler cardstock sentiment with the Peaceful Season dies. Glue the die cut sentiment to the die cut sentiment label and then use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the built sentiment to the card front overlapping the stamped label (under the stamped sentiment). Add another fussy cut Designer Series Paper birds & branches to the bottom of the card front slightly overlapping the bottom of the sentiment labels under the die cut sentiments. Add Iridescent Faceted Gems to the sentiment label on the card front.

Add a Basic White cardstock inside panel to write your message. Stamp the sentiments from the Peaceful Season stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink on the inside panel. Add a strip of Designer Series Paper and a fussy cut Designer Series Paper branch to the bottom of the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.
