More Than Autumn Double Double Card

For this week’s Global Design Project #GDP461 color challenge I created a fun Halloween themed drink cup card using the new September-December 2024 Mini Catalog More Than Autumn bundle, the sentiment from the Potions & Spells stamp set, the bat from the Playful Ghosts stamp set, and the Dotted Circles 3D embossing folder.

Start with a Gorgeous Grape cardstock card base. Cut a Lemon Lime Twist cardstock panel and a Basic Black cardstock panel. Dry emboss the Basic Black cardstock panel with Dotted Circles 3D embossing folder. Glue the embossed panel to the Lemon Lime Twist cs panel and then glue them to the card base. Cut two Basic White cardstock strips. On the longer Basic White cardstock strip use a small blender brush to add Gorgeous Grape ink. On the shorter Basic White cardstock strip use a small blender brush to add Lemon Lime Twist ink. Flick Wink of Stella using the cap onto the colored strips for sparkle. Use glue to add the colored strips to the left side of the card front (the Gorgeous Grape cardstock strip overlaps the Lemon Lime Twist cardstock strip).

Stamp the sentiment from the Potions & Spells stamp set in Memento Black ink on the Basic White cardstock stitched circle. Use the small blending brush to add a small bit of Gorgeous Grape ink to the center of the stamped Basic White cardstock. Flick Gorgeous Grape ink with the Gorgeous Grape Stampin’ White Marker and Lemon Lime Twist ink with the Dark Stampin’ Blend on the stamped Basic White cardstock stitched circle. Add the Basic White cardstock stitched circle to the Lemon Lime Twist cardstock stitched circle. Add the stitched circles to the card front slightly overlapping the Gorgeous Grape strip with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Glue the fussy cup labels on the die cups and add the straws to the cups with glue dots. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the built cups to the stitched circle so not to block the sentiment. Add Wink of Stella to the cups for sparkle. Add Iridescent Faceted Gems to the cups and the card front for extra sparkle.

Die cut a Lemon Lime Twist cardstock stitched circle with the Stylish Shapes dies. Die cut a Basic White cardstock stitched circle with the Stylish Shapes dies. Stamp four cups and two straws from the More Than Autumn stamp set in Memento Black ink on Basic White cardstock. Die cut out two cups with the More Than Autumn dies. Use the Lemon Lime Twist combo Stampin’ Blends to color the die cut cups. Stamp the bats from the Playful Ghosts stamp set in Memento Black ink on the stamped cup images labels. Use a Small Blender Brush to add Gorgeous Grape ink to the labels of the stamped cups over the stamped bat images. Color the stamped straws with the Lemon Lime Twist Stampin’ Blends and a Gorgeous Grape Stampin’ Write Marker (from the Regals Stampin’ Write Markers). Use paper snips to fussy cut out the colored cup labels and the straws.

Add a Basic White cardstock panel to write your message. Add an embossed Basic Black strip, stamp the sentiment from Potions & Spells stamp set in Memento Black ink, the bat from the Playful Ghosts in Memento Black ink, and add a little Gorgeous Grape ink with a Small Blending Brush to the inside panel and back of the card to pull the theme through.
