September is here and even though it’s still hot in Southern Arizona, I’m ready to start crafting for a cooler season! Whether you call it Autumn or Fall, the lovely new More Than Autumn bundle from the new September-December 2024 Mini Catalog includes fun sweet treat images but also awesome words & builder sentiments that are perfect for your Autumn/Fall themed projects. I created my September Customer cards with the More Than Autumn stamp set’s builder sentiments, the Cheerful Daisies stamp set & dies, the Country Wood Designer Series Paper, and the Sketched Butterflies stamp set.
Start with a Pumpkin Pie cardstock card base. Cut an Early Espresso cardstock panel and a Country Woods Designer Series Paper panel. Glue the panels together and then glue the panels to the card base.
Die cut Old Olive cardstock sprigs with the Textured Floral dies and die cut Crumb Cake cardstock sprigs with the Cheerful Daisies dies. Stamp large daisies, the large daisy outlines, and flower centers from the Cheerful Daisies stamp set on Basic White cardstock with Daffodil Delight ink & Crushed Curry ink. Stamp the smaller daisies and flower centers from the Cheerful Daisies stamp set on Basic White cardstock in Pumpkin Pie ink & Crushed Curry ink. Add Wink of Stella to the flowers for sparkle. Use the Cheerful Daisies dies to die cut out the all the stamped daisies. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals, glue dots, and glue to build a flower bouquet across the card front with the flowers and sprigs.
Die cut a Basic White cardstock stitched banner with the largest stitched banner in the Nested Essentials dies. Stamp the sentiments from the More Than Autumn stamp set in Early Espresso ink on the bottom of the stitched banner. Use glue to tuck the stamped stitched banner under the built flower bouquet and to the card front. Stamp the butterfly from the Sketched Butterflies stamp set in Early Espresso ink on Basic White cardstock. Color the butterfly with Stampin’ Blends and fussy cut out with paper snips. Add Wink of Stella to the butterfly for sparkle. Use a Stampin’ Dimensional and glue dot to add the butterfly to the flower bouquet. Add Gold Textured Adhesive-Backed Dots to the card front around the flowers. Tie a bow with Linen Thread and use a glue dot to add it to the flower bouquet.
Cut a Basic White cardstock inside panel. Lay a strip of Designer Series Paper across the inside panel for spacing. Use an Early Espresso Stampin’ Write Marker to add ink only to the words from the Cheerful Daisies stamp set (so) and each word separately (&,you, are) from the More Thank Autumn stamp set to build the phrase on the Basic White cardstock inside panel above the right side of the Designer Series Paper strip. Then use the marker to add an exclamation point (!) after the sentiment phrase. Then glue down the Designer Series Paper strip below the sentiment across the inside panel (I waited to glue down the strip in case I messed up stamping the phrase). Add a small stamped & die cut flower and a small colored & fussy cut butterfly from the Sketched Butterflies stamp set to the left side of the Designer Series Paper strip with glue and a glue dot.
