Mixed Florals & Mixed Media Florals DSP Hello Card

Card Measurements and Supply List with the printable PDF with the clickable (Print Recipe) link for this project are found at the bottom of this blog post.

I’m still enjoying creating with the Online Exclusive Mixed Florals Bundle. For this card I used ovals die cut from the Impressions Abloom dies and the beautiful Mixed Media Florals Designer Series Paper to create my card.

Start with a Petal Pink cardstock card base. Cut a Basic Black cardstock panel and a Mixed Media Florals Designer Series Paper panel. Color lightly color the flowers on the Designer Series Paper with Stampin’ Blends. Glue the panels together. Wrap the panels with Petal Pink Scalloped ribbon using Tear & Tape to secure the ends to the back of the panels. Glue the wrapped panels to the card base.

Die cut a Petal Pink cardstock oval with the Impressions Abloom dies. Dry emboss the oval with the Soft Wavy 3D embossing folder. Die cut a Basic Black stitched oval frame with the Impressions Abloom dies. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the embossed oval to the right side of the card front overlapping the wrapped ribbon. Glue the Basic Black cardstock stitched frame around the embossed oval. Stamp the daisies from the Mixed Florals stamp set in Memento Black ink on Basic White cardstock. Color the flowers with Stampin’ Blends and add Wink of Stella for sparkle. Die cut out the colored flowers with the Mixed Floral Dies. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the flowers to the card front on the embossed oval.

Cut a Basic White cardstock sentiment panel and a Petal Pink cardstock sentiment layer panel. Stamp the sentiment from the Simply Said stamp set in Memento Black ink on the Basic White cardstock sentiment panel. Glue the stamped panel to the sentiment panel layer. Use glue dots and a Stampin’ Dimensional to add the sentiment panel to the card front overlapping the left side of the embossed oval and wrapped ribbon (slightly tucked under the flowers). Tie a bow with Petal Pink Scalloped ribbon and add it to the card front with glue dots to the embossed oval so it looks like it on the wrapped ribbon. Add Adhesive Backed Sparkle Gems to the embossed oval.

Add a Basic White cardstock inside panel. Add a strip of colored Designer Series Paper to the bottom of the inside panel and the back of the card to pull the theme through. Stamp the sentiment from the Simply Said stamp set in Memento Black ink on the right side of the inside panel above the Designer Series Paper strip.
