Father’s Day is this weekend and I created a card using the fabulous Let’s Go Fishing Designer Series Paper that is apart of the 15% off Designer Series Paper Sale going on now until June 30th. I used the sentiment from the He’s All That stamp set and label dies from the All That dies & the Something Fancy dies. You can watch my Facebook Live replay on how I made this card on my Facebook page here or watch it on my YouTube Channel below.
Start with a Night of Navy cardstock card base. Cut the three different Let’s Go Fishing Designer Series Paper panels. Use glue to layer the two smaller Designer Series Panels down the left side of the larger Designer Series Panel. On a piece of Linen Thread tie five knots so they will span a 5 1/4″ panel, cut the thread, wrap the panels, and then use Stampin’ Seal to secure the ends on the back of the panels. Glue the wrapped panels to the card front.
Die cut a Very Vanilla cardstock sentiment label with the All That dies and a die cut a sentiment label layer with the Something Fancy dies. Stamp the sentiment from the He’s All That stamp set in Pecan Pie ink on the Very Vanilla cardstock sentiment label. Glue the stamped label to the Night of Navy cardstock label layer. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the labels to the card front overlapping the layered Designer Series Paper.
Fussy cut some Let’s Go Fishing Designer Series Paper fish with paper snips. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals (cut to fit) and glue dots to add a fish to the card front overlapping the labels and Designer Series Paper layers. Add Wink of Stella to the fish for sparkle. Add 2023-2025 In Color Dots to the card front.
Add a Very Vanilla cardstock inside panel to write your message. Add Let’s Go Fishing Designer Series Paper strip and a fussy cut fish to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.
I hope you enjoyed my Let’s Go Fishing DSP Father’s Day card. You can order the Let’s Go Fishing Designer Series Paper, the He’s All That stamp set, the All That dies, and the Something Fancy in my Online Store.
