Just Keep Swimming Cards

We only have a day until the new 2020-2021 Annual Catalog goes live and that means we only have a day to get all the fabulous retiring Last Chance Products including the fun Make A Splash Host stamp set from the January – June Mini Catalog. I was inspired by May 2020 Glimmer Gals Team Color Challenge given by Lorraine from Lorraine’s Crafting Corner to use the Make A Splash Host Stamp Set with the retiring 2018-2020 In Colors to create the two Just Keep Swimming cards.

Start with a Lovely Lipstick cs or Grapefruit Grove cs card base. Cut the Blueberry Bushel Noble Peacock Foil sheet panel and the Whisper White cs panel. Stamp the seaweed image from the Make A Splash stamp set in Blueberry Bushel ink in full, 2nd, & 3rd generation ink on the bottom of the Whisper White cs panel (for the Grapefruit Grove card stamp the sentiment on the center top of the panel). Dry emboss the stamped Whisper White cs panel with the High Seas 3D embossing folder.

Stamp the crab in Lovely Lipstick ink or the goldfish in Grapefruit Grove ink & bubbles in Blueberry Bushel ink on Whisper White cs. Add Wink of Stella to the images for sparkle. Punch out the images with the the 2″ Circle Punch. Punch out a image circle layer from the Blueberry Bushel Noble Foil sheet with the 2 1/4″ Circle Punch. Use the edge of your snips to rough up the edges of the Foil circle. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach the image Whisper White cs circle to the the Foil circle.

Use the edge of your paper snips to rough up the edges of the Blueberry Bushel Noble Peacock Foil panel. Use glue or Snail (tape adhesive) to attach the stamped and dry embossed Whisper White cs panel to the Foil panel. Use glue or Snail to adhere the panels to the card base. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach the image circles to the bottom right of the card front.

For the Lovely Lipstick card stamp the sentiment on Whisper White cs in Blueberry Bushel ink and punch it out with the Classic Label punch. Punch out a Foil label layer with the Classic Label punch. Use your paper snips to cut off the points of the Whisper White cs sentiment label and then use Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere it to the Foil label. Use glue dots to attach the sentiment labels to the top left of the card front. Add Noble Peacock Rhinestones to the card front.

Don’t forget to add a Whisper White cs inside panel to write your message. I also stamped the sentiment and seaweed image to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.

I couldn’t resist adding the crab and goldfish images to the back of the cards too.
