Happy Easter Bunny Card

Happy Easter!! For this week’s Global Design Project sketch challenge I created a cute Happy Easter bunny card with the adorable & soon retiring Easter Bunny stamp set. I also used the Distressed Tile 3D embossing folder, the Layering Floral 3D embossing folder, and the new 2024-2026 In Color Designer Series Paper from the upcoming 2024-2025 Annual Catalog to create my card.

Start with a Crumb Cake cardstock card base. Cut a Pecan Pie cardstock panel and dry emboss it with the Distressed Tile 3D embossing folder. Glue the embossed panel to the card base. Cut a Basic White cardstock panel and a Pretty in Pink 2024-2026 In Color Designer Series Paper panel. Dry emboss the Basic White cardstock panel with the Layered Florals 3D embossing folder, glue the embossed panel to the Designer Series Paper panel, and then use glue to add the panels to the left side of the card front even with the bottom of the embossed Pecan Pie cardstock panel.

Stamp the bunny from the Easter Bunny stamp set in Memento Black ink on Basic White cardstock. Color the bunny with Stampin’ Blends (including the new Pretty in Pink) and add Wink of Stella to the bunny’s eyes for sparkle. Fussy cut out the colored bunny with paper snips.

Cut a Basic White cardstock sentimental panel and stamp the sentiment from the Easter Bunny stamp set in Pecan Pie ink on the panel. Wrap the left end with white Baker’s Twine and tie in a small bow. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the sentiment panel across the bottom of the card front. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals and glue dots to add the bunny to the card front slightly tucking the bunny under the sentiment panel. Add Pretty in Pink 2024-2026 In Color Resin Dots to the card front and the sentiment panel.

Add a Basic White cardstock inside panel to write your message. I added an embossed Pecan Pie cardstock strip to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through. I stamped the sentiment from the retired January-February 2024 Sale-A-Bration Heartfelt Hellos stamp set in Pecan Pie ink on the right side above the embossed strip.

Embossed Pecan Pie cs panel – 5 1/4″ x 4″ plus two 1/2″ x 4″ strips.
Pretty in Pink 2024-2026 In Color DSP panel – 4 1/2″ x 2 1/2″.
Embossed Basic White cs panel – 4 1/2″ x 2 1/4″.
Basic White cs bunny – fussy cut with paper snips.
Basic White cs sentiment panel – 3/4″ x 4″.
Basic White cs inside panel – 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″.
