This week’s Global Design Project is a clean and simple sketch challenge. I used the gorgeous Best Dressed DSP and Stitched Be Mine dies to create my card.

Start with a Pear Pizzazz cs card base. Cut a Best Dressed DSP panel and a Whisper White cs panel. Glue the DSP panel centered to the bottom half of the card base. Glue the Whisper White cs panel centered overlapping the DSP and the card front.
Use the Stitched Be Mine dies to die cut out a heart from the Best Dressed DSP. Use the Stitched Be Mine dies to die cut a scalloped heart edging from Melon Mambo cs. Glue the Melon Mambo cs scalloped heart edging to the bottom right of the card front overlapping the Whisper White cs panel and the Best Dressed DSP.
Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the die cut Best Dressed heart to the inside of the Melon Mambo cs scalloped heart edging.
Cut the Whisper White cs sentiment banner. Stamp the banner with the sentiment from the Sale-A-Bration Happy Birthday to You stamp set in Granny Apple Green ink. Use the Banner Triple Punch or your paper snips to flag the end of the sentiment banner.
Cut a piece of Granny Apple Green Texture Weave ribbon, use Tear & Tape to attach it to the sentiment banner. Use glue dots to attach the sentiment/ribbon across the die cut Best Dressed DSP heart. Add Basic-Adhesive Sequins to the card front around the sentiment banner.
Don’t forget to add a Whisper White cs inside panel to write your message. I stamped the sentiment from the Meant to Be stamp set and added a strip of DSP to the inside of the panel and back of the card to pull the theme through.
