Global Design Project 218 – Sketch Challenge with Snow Front

This week’s Global Design Project‘s sketch challenge incorporated double image fun. I decided to use the Snow Front stamp set to make a mountain scene for this week’s challenge.

Start with a Mossy Meadow cs card base. Cut the Soft Suede cs panel and the Very Vanilla cs panel. Glue the Soft Suede cs panel to the card base.

Stamp the Mountain image several times from the Snow Front stamp set in Soft Suede ink – (some stamped off – 2nd generation) across the top of the Very Vanilla cs panel. Stamp the forest image and the largest tree image from the Snow Front stamp set in Old Olive ink below and overlapping the stamped mountains on the Very Vanilla cs panel. Stamp the sentiment from the Itty Bitty Birthday stamp set in Old Olive ink in the left corner of the Very Vanilla cs panel.

Wrap the stamped Very Vanilla cs panel with a piece of Come to Gather Crumb Cake satin ribbon using glue dots to secure the ends to the back of the panel and then glue the panel to the card front.

Die cut out a Mossy Meadow cs stitched rectangle with the Stitched Rectangle dies. Die cut out two stitched Very Vanilla cs squares with the Stitched Shapes dies. Cut two Soft Suede cs layer squares.

Stamp trees (the three small tree stamps) from the Snow Front stamp set in Old Olive ink (including in 2nd & 3rd generation) on both of the small stitched squares. Stamp the deer in Soft Suede ink on one of the stamped Very Vanilla cs stitched squares. Add Wink of Stella to the deer for sparkle.

Add the Mossy Meadow cs stitched rectangle to the center of the card front and ribbon with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Attach the stamped Very Vanilla cs stitched squares to the Soft Suede cs layers. Glue the Very Vanilla cs/Soft Suede cs squares to the Mossy Meadow cs stitched rectangle on the card front.

Don’t forgot to add a Very Vanilla cs panel to the inside of the card to write your message. I also stamped the sentiment and trees in Old Olive ink on the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.
