Glimmer Gal Team October Sketch Challenge – Everything is Rosy

It’s time for another Glimmer Gal Team sketch challenge and I was excited I could revisit a past favorite with the Everything is Rosy Product Medley that is currently 15% off on the Clearance Rack. I love the Everything is Rosy DSP and the Rose Gold Foil die cut with strip sprig Everything is Rosy die .

The Glimmer Gal Team October Sketch Challenge is from
Theresa of
 Theresa’s Treasures.

Start with a Seaside Spray cs card base. Cut a Seaside Spray cs panel. Dry emboss the panel with the Subtle 3D embossing folder (don’t forget if using the new style of 3D embossing folder to use the 3D Embossing Folder Plate for the best impression).

Die cut two Rose Gold Foil (included in the Everything is Rosy Product Medley) strip sprigs with the Everything is Rosy dies. Use glue to adhere the foil sprigs side by side- sprigs out-to the left side of the embossed Seaside Spray cs panel – use Paper Snips to make sure the foil sprigs are flush with the embossed Seaside Spray cs panel. Then layer a piece of the Night of Navy with Rose Gold edging ribbon up the center of the Rose Gold Foil sprigs hiding the transition and use Tear & Tape to secure the ends of the ribbon on the back of the panel.

Die cut a circle from the Everything is Rosy DSP and a scalloped circle from Night of Navy cs with the Layering Circles Dies. Glue the DSP circle to the Night of Navy scalloped circle. Fussy cut out various flowers from the Everything is Rosy DSP. Use glue dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals to arrange them on the DSP circle. Die cut a few Rose Gold Foil sprigs with the Everything is Rosy dies and add them with glue dots to the flowers on the DSP circle. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the circle layers to the card front overlapping the sprig/ribbon strip.

Cut the Seaside Spray cs sentiment banner and a Rose Gold Foil banner layer. Stamp the sentiment from the Everything is Rosy stamp set on Seaside Spray cs in Night of Navy ink. Use Paper Snips to flag the ends of both the stamped Seaside Spray cs banner and Rose Gold Foil banner. Glue the stamped Seaside Spray cs banner on the Rose Gold Foil banner. Then use glue to adhere it to the bottom right of the card front.

Don’t forget to add a Whisper White cs inside layer to write your message. I stamped the sentiment and added a strip of DSP to the inside panel and back of the card to pull the theme through.
