I was finally able to manage to go live during my regular time (Mondays at 1:30 pm PST) this week. I pulled out the bold and bight See A Silhouette DSP. I haven’t given it the love it deserves and decided to pair it with the Sailing Home bundle. You can watch the replay of my Facebook Live here on Facebook or watch the replay on my YouTube channel here.
Start with a Night of Navy cs card base. Cut a See A Silhouette DSP panel and glue it to the card base.
Die cut a label with the Stitched Nested Labels (1 3/4″) dies from Whisper White cs. I used my Stamparatus to stamp the label with the sentiment from the Sailing Home stamp set in Night of Navy ink.
Stamp the large (2) and small (1) sailing ships from the Sailing Home stamp set on Whisper White cs in Night of Navy ink. Die cut out the ships with the Smooth Sailing dies.
Card #1 – Die cut a vellum cs and a copper foil seaweed piece with the Smooth Sailing dies. Die cut a helm wheel from copper foil with the Smooth Sailing Dies.
Card #2 – Die cut a vellum cs and a Shaded Spruce seaweed piece with the Smooth Sailing dies. Die cut a helm wheel from Night of Navy cs with the Smooth Sailing Dies.
Card #1 – Add Snail to the back of stamped stitched label and adhere the vellum cs and copper foil seaweed pieces so they are on the top right of the label. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the stitched label to the card front. Use more Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the large sailboat to the stamped stitched label. Use a glue dot and a small piece of Foam Adhesive Strip to adhere the copper foil helm wheel so it overlaps the sailboat and hangs off the stitched label. Cut a piece of the 1/4″ Copper Trim and spread it out. Use a glue dot to adhere the Trim by tucking it under the top left side of the stitched label.
Card #2 – Cut a piece of the Whisper White Flax ribbon and adhere it to the card front with Tear & Tape. Use glue dots to adhere the Vellum cs and Shaded Spruce cs seaweed pieces to the card front using the ribbon as a starting place – so that they’ll be off the top left of the stitched label. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the stamped stitched label to the card front overlapping the ribbon and seaweed pieces. Attach the large sailboat to the stitched label with a bit slightly off the label – use Stampin’ Dimensionals and double stack the dimensional for extra height behind the piece of the sailboat that hangs slightly off the label. Us a glue dot to attach the Night of Navy helm wheel to the sailboat.
Color Pearl Basic Jewels with the Dark Night of Navy Stampin’ Blend and add them to the card fronts. I added one to the Night of Navy helm wheel on Card #2
Don’t forget to add a Whisper White cs inside panel to write your message. I did add strips of See A Silhouette DSP to the inside panel and back of the card to pull the theme through.
