Dry Brushed Metallic Specialty DSP Thank You Card

Calypso Coral has long been one of my favorite colors and the January-April 2023 Mini Catalog Dry Brushed Metallic Specialty Designer Series Paper is gorgeous! I used a Calypso Coral piece of this Specialty Designer Series Paper with the lovely flowers from the Online Exclusive Irresistible Blooms stamp set to create this Thank You card.

Start with a Calypso Coral cardstock card base. Cut a Basic White cardstock panel and a Dry Brushed Metallic Specialty Designer Series Paper panel. Glue the panels to the card base. Die cut a Basic White cardstock scalloped stitched rectangle with the Scalloped Contours dies. Stamp the sentiment from the Irresistible Blooms stamp set in Calypso Coral ink to the bottom of the Basic White cardstock scalloped stitched rectangle. Use glue to add the stamped scalloped stitched rectangle to the center of the card front.

Stamp both the flowers from the Irresistible Blooms stamp set multiple times in Calypso Coral ink on Basic White cardstock. Use the small blending brushes to add Daffodil Delight ink to the center of the flowers and Petal Pink ink to the flower petals. Die cut out the flowers with the Irresistible Blooms dies. Use paper snips to cut down one flower to create a smaller bloom. Add Wink of Stella to the flower centers for sparkle. Die cut Calypso Coral cardstock leaves with the Irresistible Blooms dies.

Build a bouquet by adding the die cut flowers and leaves to the card front at the top of the scalloped stitched rectangle with glue dots, Stampin’ Dimensionals, and glue. Add gold Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins around the flowers and by the sentiment.

Add a Basic White cardstock inside panel to write your message. Glue a strip of Dry Brushed Metallic Specialty Designer Series Paper to the inside and back of the card. Add a die cut flower and leaf to the left side of the inside panel overlapping the Specialty Designer Series Paper strip. Stamp the sentiment from the Treasured Kindness stamp set in Calypso Coral ink on the bottom right of the inside panel above the Specialty Designer Series Paper strip.
