Christmas Rose in Petal Pink Card

The Christmas Rose stamp set doesn’t have to be just for Christmas projects. I created a lovely Birthday card in pastel colors with gold accents.

Start with a Whisper White Note Card as your card base. Cut a Petal Pink cs panel, dry emboss it with the Scripty 3D embossing folder, and then glue it to the card base.

Stamp the large rose image from the Christmas Rose stamp set in Granny Apple Green ink on Whisper White cs. Color the rose with the Stampin’ Blends and then add Wink of Stella for sparkle.

Use Snail to attach two pieces of (loop & end) Gold Shimmer ribbon to two sides of the die cut rose image. Use glue dots to make Petal Pink Striped Organdy ribbon loops and add them over the gold shimmer ribbon. Attach the die cut rose image to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stamp the sentiment from the Special Someone stamp set in Gorgeous Grape ink on Whisper White cs. Use Paper Snips to closely fussy cut out the sentiment. Use the Dark Petal Pink Stampin’ Blend to add ink to the edges of the sentiment.

Use Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the sentiment across the rose image. Add Gold Glitter Enamel Dots to the card front.

I stamped the sentiment and added an embossed Petal Pink cs strip on the inside & back of the card to pull the through.

Whisper White cs scrap – for large rose image and then die cut out with the Rose Dies.
Whisper White cs sentiment panel – fussy cut about 3/8″ x 1 3/4″
