Calming Camellia Customer Thank You February 2022 Blog Hop Card

Welcome and Thank you for visiting Christy’s Stamping Spot! I’m Christy and I’m an Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator in Arizona, USA. I’m excited to be taking part in Bruno and Kylie Bertucci’s Demonstrator Training Blog Hop with this fabulous group of Demonstrators from around the world!

Each month I make & send Customer Thank You Cards for everyone who orders from my Online Store. This month I CASEd (Copy And Selectively Edit) a card from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure on page 16 using the gorgeous Distinktive Sale-A-Bration Host Calming Camellia stamp set. As soon as I saw this lovely 4″ x 4″ card in the Brochure I knew I wanted to recreate it. But instead of the smaller sized card I redesigned it to be a full sized for this month’s Customer Thank You cards. The Host Calming Camellia Sale-A-Bration stamp set is Free with a qualifying $300 (in US) order or workshop.

Start with a Calypso Coral cardstock card base. Cut a Very Vanilla cs image panel and a Calypso Coral cs panel. Emboss and die cut the Calypso Coral cs panel with the Bouquet of Love Hybrid embossing folder (& dies). Stamp the floral image from the Calming Camellia stamp set in Calypso Coral ink on the Very Vanilla cs panel. In the sample in the Sale-A-Bration Brochure they used Petal Pink cs instead of Very Vanilla cs. Add Wink of Stella to the flowers centers for sparkle.

Use glue to add the stamped Very Vanilla cs panel to the card base using the die cut & embossed Calypso Coral cs panel as a guide. Then add the die cut & embossed Calypso Coral cs panel to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Die cut out the Very Vanilla cs sentiment label with the Tasteful Labels dies. Stamp the sentiment from the Pansy Patch stamp set in Calypso Coral ink on Very Vanilla cs on the label. Then add the sentiment label to the bottom center of the card front beneath the die cut heart. Add Gilded Gems to the card front.

Don’t forget to add a Very Vanilla cardstock inside panel to write your message. I stamped the sentiment and added an embossed strip to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.
