Bird’s Eye View Hello Card

I love this super cute 2023-2024 Annual Catalog Bird’s Eye View stamp set. I created this simple & easy fun fold using the little owl from this set as the focal image with the sentiments from the Online Exclusive Irresistible Blooms stamp set, the Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper, and the Scalloped Contours dies.

Start with an Old Olive cardstock card base. With your already scored card base cut off half (2 1/8″ X 5 1/2″) of the front panel. Cut both of the Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper panels and glue them to the front panel and the inside of the card. Die cut an Old Olive cardstock & Basic White cardstock scalloped stitched rectangles with the Scalloped Contours dies. Stamp the inside panel sentiment from the Irresistible Blooms stamp set in Old Olive ink on the Basic White cardstock scalloped stitched rectangle. Glue the stamped Basic White cardstock scalloped stitched rectangle on the inside Designer Series Paper panel. Using the Basic White cardstock scalloped stitched rectangle as a guide use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the Old Olive cardstock scalloped stitched rectangle to the front panel so it hides the Basic White cardstock scalloped stitched rectangle when closed.

Die cut a smaller Basic White cardstock scalloped stitched rectangle with the Scalloped Contours dies. Stamp the sentiment from the Irresistible Blooms stamp set in Old Olive ink at the top of the scalloped stitched rectangle. Stamp the owl image from the Bird’s Eye View stamp set in Pecan Pie ink on Basic White cardstock. Color the owl with Stampin’ Blends and then fussy cut it out with paper snips. Stamp multiples of the leaf images from the Bird’s Eye View stamp set in full & 2nd generation Old Olive ink on Basic White cardstock, color the leaves with the Light Old Olive Stampin’ Blend, and then fussy cut them out with paper snips. Fussy cut four Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper flowers with paper snips.

Use glue dots to build the spray of leaves with the fussy cut leaves on the bottom left side of the scalloped stitched rectangle. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the owl to the scalloped stitched rectangle overlapping the spray of leaves. Use glue dots to add three flowers into the spray of leaves. Add Adhesive-Backed Sequins Trio to the card front in the spray of leaves. Add Wink of Stella to the flowers & owl for sparkle.

Use glue dots to add fussy cut leaves & a flower to the bottom right corner of the inside scalloped stitched rectangle. Add a strip of Designer Series Paper, stamp the sentiment from the Irresistible Blooms stamp set in Old Olive ink, and stamp the smallest bird from the Bird’s Eye View stamp set in Pecan Pie ink on the back of the card to pull the theme through.

Old Olive cs card base – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ and scored at 4 1/4″ then cut off 2 1/8″ from the card front.
Delightfully Eclectic DSP inside panel – 5 1/4″ x 4″.
Delightfully Eclectic DSP front panel – 5 1/4″ x 1 7/8″.
Old Olive cs scalloped stitched rectangle – die cut with the second largest die from the Scalloped Contours dies.
Basic White cs scalloped stitched rectangle – die cut with the second largest die from the Scalloped Contours dies.
Basic White cs scalloped stitched rectangle – die cut with the third largest die from the Scalloped Contours dies.
Basic White cs owl – fussy cut with paper snips.
Basic White cs leaves – fussy cut with paper snips.
Delightfully Eclectic DSP flowers – fussy cut with paper snips.
Delightfully Eclectic DSP strip – 1/2″ x 4″ strip.
