Autumn Leaves & All About Autumn Card

For this week’s Global Design Project CASE the designer challenge I created a lovely Autumn card with the All About Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper, the Autumn Leaves bundle, the Distressed Gold Specialty Designer Series Paper, the Oxidized Copper Specialty Designer Series Paper, and the So Sincere stamp set.

CASE = Copy And Selectively Edit

Start with a Pretty Peacock cardstock card base. Cut an All About Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper panel. Use the edge of the paper snips to distress the edges of the Specialty Designer Series Paper panel. Slightly fold the top left corner (like the CASED Ann Alexander card) and use glue dots to secure the folded corner. Use glue to add the Specialty Designer Series Paper panel to the card base.

Stamp the two large leaves images from the Autumn Leaves stamp set in full & 2nd generation (stamped off) Pretty Peacock ink on Basic White cardstock. Die cut out the leaves with the Autumn Leaves dies. Die cut out Distressed Gold Specialty Designer Series Paper and Oxidized Copper Specialty Designer Series Paper leaves with the Autumn Leaves dies. Die cut Pretty Peacock cardstock leaves with the Autumn Leaves dies. Die cut a Basic White cardstock banner with the Stylish Shapes dies. Stamp the sentiment from the So Sincere stamp set in Pretty Peacock ink on the Basic White cardstock banner.

Use glue dots, Stampin Dimensionals, and glue to build a leaf bouquet in the center the of the card front with the die cut leaves. Use glue dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the stitched banner to the top of the leaf bouquet. Add two Distressed Gold Specialty Designer Series Paper leaves on top of the stitched banner with glue dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals. Tie a small double bow with the Linen Thread and use glue dots to add it to the lower left side of the sentiment banner. Add Adhesive-Backed Sequins Trio sequins to the leaves.

Add a Basic White cardstock inside panel to write your message. Stamp the sentiment from the So Sincere stamp set in Pretty Peacock ink. Add a strip of Specialty Designer Series Paper to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through. I added a Basic White cardstock stamped leaf, a Distressed Gold Specialty Designer Series Paper leaf, and a Oxidized Copper Specialty Designer Series Paper leaf die cut with Autumn Leaves dies to the bottom right corner overlapping the Specialty Designer Series Paper strip.
