I am loving the Mini Curvy Keepsake Box Dies. This super easy to use set of dies is totes adorbs and perfect for any occasion! Paired with the recipe sheet of the Monster Bash DSP, the mini curvy keepsake box dies works so well for a ‘Vintage’ project. You can watch the Facebook Live replay of this project on my Facebook page here or watch the replay on my YouTube channel here.
Start with die cutting a mini curvy keepsake box from the Monster Bash DSP with the Mini Curvy Keepsake Box Dies.
Stamp the sentiment (Happy Halloween) from the Wonderfully Wicked stamp set in Memento Black ink on the Monster Bash DSP box. Be sure you stamp the sentiment the right direction to show on the inside- under the handles, or on the outside- under the slip over latching sides.
Stamp the spider web image from the Wonderfully Wicked stamp set in 2nd generation Memento Black ink (stamped off) on the Monster Bash DSP box. Stamp the spider image from the Wonderfully Wicked stamp set in Memento Black ink on the DSP box. Then use a Stampin’ Sponge wedge to add Early Espresso ink to the box’s edges. Fold the score lines, use the bone folder to slightly curl the DSP, pinch together the handles, and then slide the lacing sides to build the box.
Die cut out a Very Vanilla cs and Basic Black cs stitched square with the Mini Curvy Keepsakes Box Dies. Stamp the sentiment from the Tiny Keepsakes stamp set in Memento Black ink on the Very Vanilla cs stitched square. Then use a Stampin’ Sponge wedge to add Early Espresso ink to the edges and lightly on the stamped Very Vanilla cs stitched square tag. Use Snail to loop the Silver Metallic Thread on the back of the stamped & sponged Very Vanilla cs tag. Use glue to attach the Basic Black cs stitched square to the back of the Very Vanilla cs tag sandwiching the Silver Metallic Thread.
Cut the pieces of Very Vanilla Scalloped Lace Trim and Basic Black Scalloped Edge ribbon. Use the Stampin’ Sponge wedge to add Early Espresso ink to the Very Vanilla Scalloped Lace Trim. Attach the Basic Black Scalloped Edge ribbon to the sponged Very Vanilla Scalloped Lace Trim and to the Very Vanilla cs/ Basic Black cs tag. Then add the tag to the box.
