Halloween is only a few days away and I’m on my last week – Week 12 of my 12 Weeks of Halloween. This week’s Spooky Treats project can help you use that Monster Bash DSP you haven’t managed to use yet and still make your treats look awesome. I hope you like my version of banner tags. I was inspired by a similar project by Norma Pinetel. You can watch the Facebook Live replay of the making of these spooky treats here on my Facebook page or on my YouTube channel here.
I made four different banner tag sizes to fit the different candies.
Cut the Monster Bash DSP and flag both ends with the Banner Triple Punch to create your banner tag. Glue on the Basic Black cs Florish – centered with the top loops off the DSP. Use the Bone Folder to light curl the DSP. Use a Glue Dot to stick the candy to the middle of the DSP banner tag and then staple the ends together. Punch a 2″ Whisper White cs circle and stamp the sentiment and image from the Wonderfully Wicked stamp set in Memento Black ink. Punch a Basic Black cs starburst circle with the Starburst Punch and glue the stamped Whisper White cs circle to it. Use a Black Stampin’ Dimensional to adhere the circles to the DSP banner tag. Tie a small bow with the Black Glittered Organdy ribbon and use a glue dot to adhere it to the stamped Whisper White cs circle.
For this Small candy tag I stamped the sentiment on a 2″ Whisper White cs circle and glued a 1″ circle image from the Monster Bash DSP.
For this eXtra Large candy pack tag I stamped the sentiment and image from the Wonderfully Wicked stamp set and added Wink of Stella to the spider for sparkle.
For this medium candy tag I stamped a coordinating image from the Spooktacular Bash stamp set and colored the the images with the Stampin’ Blends.
I hope you enjoyed Week 12 of my 12 Weeks of Halloween and have enjoyed my 12 Weeks of Halloween series. You can these fabulous Halloween products, punches, and the wonderful Flourish dies in my Online Store now!
