I finally finished my Coffin Treat Box Wreath. I used 24 – 2 packs – of the Coffin Treat Boxes to make this wreath. I dry embossed all the coffin lids with the Stylish Scroll, Subtle 3D, and Country Floral 3D embossing folders. I created the Basic Black cs flowers with the Hot Air Balloon punch and the Magnolia Memory Dies. I sponged the coffins and flower petals with the Silvery Shimmer Delicata Metallic Ink. I added Silver Foil accents to the flowers and embossed leaves with the Gathered Leaves dies.
I laid out the coffins to make sure I embossed the lids in the pattern that I wanted.
I sponged all the coffins – embossed lid & bottom – with the Silvery Shimmer Delicata Metallic ink.
I used hot glue to build my wreath. I first glued the lids onto the bottoms before hot gluing the coffins together in the circle.
I found a 14″ silver foil covered cardboard cake board to mount my wreath that gave it a spooky fun house mirror feel. I punched two holes at the top of the cake board and threaded Black Satin ribbon through to make the ribbon loop to hang the wreath. I used hot glue to attach the foil cake board to the back of the coffin treat boxes and then added an extra bead of glue on the outer edge for extra stability.
It did take me several days and a lot of hot glue to make my Coffin Treat Box Wreath but I was very pleased with how it turned out. I hope you enjoyed this look at how I made my fun but lovely Halloween Coffin Treat Box Wreath.
