Thursday's Double Feature: Kerchief Card Kit Cards

The Stampin’ Up! Kit Collection has something for everyone. It includes card kits and crafting kits as well as stamping and non-stamping options. Two of the latest added Stampin’ Up! Kit Collection options are the super cute Robot Buddies Card Kit that has young crafters in mind and the lovely home décor Celebrate Today Magnet Board Kit. The awesome thing about these all inclusive kits is that they contain everything you need to make the provided designed projects but there is no wrong or right way to create your projects. One of the fabulous non-stamping card kits is the pretty Kerchief Card Kit that makes eight cards – four of two designs. I’ve created two of the cards and slightly modified them to my liking. Gather all the kit pieces together to make your card. Fold your card base with a bone folder. Use glue dots to add the Night of Navy oval to the Gold embossed Vellum cs rectangle. Use glue dots to the Vellum rectangle hidden behind the oval and the gold embossed circles to attach it to the center of the card base.

Add the printed leaves, gold leaves, and gold flower (I used less pieces than the instructions called for) with glue dots to the card front overlapping the oval creating an ‘L’ shape on the bottom left side. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the printed sentiment label across the bottom of the card front overlapping the oval & embossed vellum. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the Coastal Cabana flower overlapping the oval, sentiment label, the printed leaf, and the gold leaves & flower. Tie a bow with the Linen Thread and use a glue dot to add the bow to the card front under the flower.

Gather all the kit pieces together to make your card. Fold your card base with a bone folder. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the printed sentiment label to the center of the Vellum rectangle. Use glue dots (hidden by the label) to add the Vellum to the center of the card front.

Use glue dots to add two gold leaves and one gold flower tucked under the top & bottom right side of the label ( I added less elements to the card front than the instructions show). I tied a small double Linen Thread bow and used glue dots to add it to the right side of the label.
