Sweet Days of Autumn DSP Card

Card Measurements and Supply List with the clickable link for this project are found at the bottom of this blog post.

Happy November!! The temperature here in Southern Arizona is finally cooling down and I couldn’t resist creating a fall card with the super cute critters in the Sweet Days of Autumn Designer Series Paper from the September 2024 Scrapbooking Brochure. I also added the Two-Tone cardstock with a label die cut with Something Fancy dies.

AUTUMN TO REMEMBER 12″ X 12″ (30.5 X 30.5 CM) TWO-TONE CARDSTOCK
$12.00

Start with a Pecan Pie cardstock card base. Cut a Two-Tone Petal Pink cardstock (dark side) panel and a Sweet Days of Autumn Designer Series Paper panel. Glue the panels together and then to the card base. Cut another Two-Tone Petal Pink cardstock (dark side) panel and gently tear both sides of the panel to reveal the white core of the paper. Wrap the torn panel with the Petal Pink Diagonal Trim using Tear & Tape to adhere the ends on the back of the panel. Glue the wrapped panel to the front.

Die cut a Basic White cardstock label with the Something Fancy dies. Stamp the trees image from the Autumn to Remember stamp set across the label first in Pecan Pie ink and the stamp a second time in Petal Pink ink. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the label to the card front slightly off the torn panel and overlapping the wrapped ribbon.

Die cut a Two-Tone Petal Pink cardstock (light side) small stitched banner with the Stylish Shapes dies. Stamp the sentiment from the Simply Said stamp set in Pecan Pink ink on the stitched banner. Fussy cut a two hedgehogs, a deer, an owl, and four leaves from the Sweet Days of Autumn Designer Series Paper with paper snips. Add Wink of Stella to the critters for sparkle. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the fussy cut critters and the sentiment stitched banner to the bottom of the stamped label. Use glue dots to add three leaves around the owl. Tie a small bow with the Petal Pink Diagonal Trim and add it to the left of the built label overlapping the wrapped ribbon. Add clear Ribboned Adhesive-Backed Dots to the card front.

Add a Basic White cardstock inside panel to write your message. I added a strip of Sweet Days of Autumn Designer Series Paper to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through. I also added a fussy cut Sweet Days of Autumn Designer Series Paper hedgehog and leaf on the bottom right of the inside panel overlapping the Designer Series Paper strip.
