This week’s Global Design Project is a summery color challenge. I used the beautiful Butterfly Wishes stamp set that is lovely in the bright and cherry colors for my card.

Start with a Calypso Coral cs card base and dry emboss the front with the Subtle 3D embossing folder. Cut a Bumblebee 2020-2022 In Color 6″x 6″ DSP panel and a Whisper White cs panel. Stamp flower branches from the Butterfly Wishes in Granny Apple Green ink on the Whisper White cs panel. Stamp the flower from the Butterfly Wishes stamp set to the flower on the branches in Bumblebee ink once in full strength then slightly turn the stamp and stamp a 2nd generation image on the first. Use a Bumblebee Stampin’ Write Marker to add color to the smaller flowers on the branches. Stamp the butterfly images in Calypso Coral ink in between the branches. Then dry emboss the stamped Whisper White cs panel with Subtle 3D embossing folder.
Glue the stamped & embossed Whisper White cs panel to the Bumblebee DSP panel. Wrap the panels with Bumblebee In Color ribbon and use glue dots to secure the ends to the back of the card. Glue the wrapped panel to the card front. Add Artistry Blooms sequins to the flower centers and Wink of Stella to the butterflies for sparkle.
Cut the Calypso Coral cs label layer, Bumblebee cs label layer, and Whisper White sentiment layer. Use the Lovely Label Pick A Punch to punch one end of the labels. Stamp the Whisper White sentiment label with the sentiment from the Lovely You stamp set in Granny Apple Green ink. Dry emboss the labels with the Subtle 3D embossing folder. Glue the labels together and use your paper snips to make them the same length. Tie a small bow with the Bumblebee In Color ribbon and attach it with glue dots to the left side edge overlapping the wrapped ribbon. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach the sentiment labels to the card front on the left side next to the bow.
Don’t forget to add an Whisper White cs inside panel to write your message. I also stamped the sentiment & butterfly and a DSP strip to inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.
