Stampin’ Up!® Shark Frenzy Family Card

For this week’s Global Design Project theme challenge I couldn’t resist creating a card with this cute shark family with the new Shark Frenzy bundle from the January -June 2021 Mini Catalog.

Start with a Misty Moonlight cs card base. Cut a Whale of a Time DSP panel and glue it to the card base. Cut a Basic White cs sentiment panel and a Misty Moonlight cs panel layer.

Stamp the sentiment from the Lovely You stamp set in Memento Black ink on the Basic White cs sentiment panel. Glue the stamped sentiment Basic White cs panel to the Misty Moonlight cs panel layer. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach the sentiment panels to the top of the card front.

Stamp 2 large sharks and 2 small sharks from the Shark Frenzy stamp set in Memento Black ink on Basic White cs. Use the Stampin’ Blends to color the sharks and then add Wink of Stella to the sharks’ eyes and teeth. Die cut Well Suited DSP bow tie, tie, bow, and hat with the Shark Dies and then use glue & glue dots to add them to the sharks. Stamp the mustache image from the Shark Frenzy stamp set in Memento Black ink, die cut it out with the Shark Dies, and use a glue dot to add it to the shark. Use glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the sharks to the card front. Add Misty Moonlight 2020-2022 In Color Enamel Dots to the sharks’ bow & hat and add Faceted Elegant Gems to the card front.

Don’t forget to add a Basic White cs inside panel. Stamp the sentiments from the Shark Frenzy stamp set & Lovely You stamp set in Memento Black ink. Stamp the bubbles image from the Shark Frenzy stamp set in Misty Moonlight ink in the top left and bottom right corner. I also added a strip of Whale of a Time DSP on the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.

Misty Moonlight cs sentiment panel layer – 1 1/8″ x 3 3/4″
Basic White cs scraps – die cut 2 large and 2 small sharks with the Shark Dies.
Well Suited DSP scrap – die cut out bow tie, tie, bow, and hat with the Shark Dies.
Basic White cs scrap – die cut mustache with Shark Dies.
Basic White cs inside panel – 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″
