Stampin’ Up! Hello Snails & Mushrooms Card

Card Measurements and Supply List for this project are found at the bottom of this blog post.

I adore the lovely snails from the retiring Snailed It stamp set from the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog. I used this stamp set to create my Glimmer Gals Team June Sketch Challenge card. I used a die cut sprig from the Meadows die and my Blending Brushes to create the subtle background on the Pear Pizzazz cs panels behind the snails & mushroom images.

SNAILED IT CLING STAMP SET

Start with a Pale Papaya cs card base. Cut a Poppy Parade cs panel and a Shaded Spruce cs panel. Dry emboss the card base’s front panel, the Poppy Parade cs panel, and the Shaded Spruce cs panel with the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder. Glue the embossed panels to the embossed card front.

Cut the Pear Pizzazz cs panels. Die cut a sprig from scrap with the Meadows dies. Create a subtle background on the Pear Pizzazz cs panels with the Blending Brushes, Pear Pizzazz ink, and the die cut as a mask. Then glue the Pear Pizzazz cs panels to the embossed Shaded Spruce cs panel.

Stamp the images from the Snailed It stamp set in Memento Black ink on Basic White cs. Color the images with Stampin’ Blends. Fussy Cut the images with paper snips (you could also use the coordinating Snail dies). Add Wink of Stella to the images for sparkle and Shimmery Crystal Effects to the snails’ eyes & the mushrooms (be sure to let the Shimmery Crystal Effects completely dry) and then glue them to the Pear Pizzazz cs panels. Stamp the thought bubble & sentiment from the Snailed It stamp set in Memento Black ink & Poppy Parade ink on Basic White cs and then fussy cut it out. Attach it to the top inside corner of the lower right Pear Pizzazz cs panel with Stampin’ Dimensional. Add Champagne Rhinestones to the card front and sentiment bubble.

Don’t forget to add a Basic White cs inside panel to write your message. Stamp the sentiment from the Snailed It stamp set in Poppy Parade ink and add a strip of embossed Shaded Spruce cs to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.
