Halloween is only days away and I made a Halloween Kitty fun fold card to share. I used the awesome kitty from the Ghoulish Goodies stamp set and the beautiful Magic In This Night DSP to create my card. Start with a Basic Black cs card base (the front of the card base is 3/4″ shorter). Cut the Magic In This Night DSP panels. Use the Cajun Craze dark Stampin’ Blend to color the white stripes on the smaller DSP panel and then glue it to the inside of the card flush with the outside edges. Glue the larger DSP panel (floral side up) to the card front.
Die cut a Shimmery White cs square and a Cajun Craze cs scalloped square with the Layering Squares dies. Cut a Basic Black cs layer square. Stamp the kitty & spider images from the Ghoulish Goodies stamp set in Memento Black ink on the Shimmery White cs square. Color the kitty with the Stampin’ Blends and then add Wink of Stella for sparkle. Add a drop of Shimmery Crystal Effects to the spider and the kitty’s eyes (use your Take a Pick tool to draw out the Shimmery Crystal Effects to fit the eyes), and collar charm for texture. Be sure you let the Shimmery Crystal Effects dry completely. Then use the cap & brush tip of the Basic Black Stampin’ Blend to add black splatters to the Shimmery White cs image square.
Add the Cajun Craze cs scalloped square to the card front using glue on only the left half of the square so it hangs over almost flush with the inside DSP panel. Then use Black Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the Shimmery White cs panel to the Basic Black cs square layer. Add a piece of Metallic Mesh Ribbon across the Cajun Craze scalloped square, wrapped around your card and tied with a bow. Then use Black Stampin’ Dimensionals (double stacked) to add the Shimmery White cs/ Basic Black cs squares to the Cajun Craze scalloped square over the ribbon. Use the Basic Black dark Stampin’ Blend to color rhinestones and then add them to the card front.
Don’t forget to add a Shimmery White cs inside panel. I stamped the sentiment from the Little Treats stamp set and the spider from the Ghoulish Goodies stamp set in memento Black. I used the cap & brush tip of the Basic Black Stampin’ Blend to add black splatters to the inside panel. I also added DSP strips to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.
