Stampin’ Up!® Bumblebee Dandy Garden Card

The Dandy Garden Suite in the new January-June 2021 Mini Catalog is a huge suite that includes a stamp bundle and a punch bundle plus Designer Series Paper, embellishments, and more. For this card I focused on the adorable bumble bees from the Garden Wishes stamp set & Dandy Garden DSP and the beautiful wildflower image from the Dragonfly Garden stamp set.

Start with a Misty Moonlight cs card base. Cut a Basic Black cs panel & Dandy Garden DSP panel and glue them together. Wrap the panels with a Daffodil Delight Ruched ribbon securing the ends with Stampin’ Seal and then glue the wrapped panels to the card base.

Cut a Basic White cs panel and stamp the wildflower image from the Dragonfly Garden stamp set in full a 2nd generation (stamped off) Memento Black ink. Stamp a bee from the Garden Wishes stamp set in Memento Black ink above the flowers. Color the bee with Stampin’ Blends and add Wink of Stella to the bees wings for sparkle. Die cut 3 bees from the Dandy Garden DSP with the Dandy Wishes dies. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add 2 die cut bees to the card front. Add Wink of Stella to the bee’s wings for sparkle.

Add the Basic White cs panel to the card front in the left corner of the card front. Tie a bow with the Daffodil Delight Ruched ribbon and add it to the right of the Basic While cs panel overlapping the wrapped ribbon.

Don’t forget to add a Basic White cs inside panel to write your message. Stamp the sentiment from the Garden Wishes stamp set in Memento Black ink. Use a glue dot to add the third die cut bee to the top right corner of the inside panel. Add a strip of DSP to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.
