The fabulous Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper includes patterns that are perfect for stamping directly on the DSP and #SimpleStamping. I created this lovely simple stamping card using the Beauty of the Friendship stamp set and Beauty of the Earth DSP. You can watch my Facebook Live replay of this project here and on my YouTube channel below.
Start with a Misty Moonlight cs card base. Cut a Merry Merlot cs panel and a Beauty of the Earth DSP panel.
Stamp the sentiment from the Beauty of Friendship stamp set on the top right of the DSP panel in Misty Moonlight ink. Stamp the tree trunks from the Beauty of Friendship stamp set in Misty Moonlight ink up & across the left side of the DSP panel. Then stamp the less full foliage image from the Beauty of Friendship stamp set in 2nd generation (stamped off) Misty Moonlight ink over the stamped tree truck. Glue the stamped DSP panel onto the Merry Merlot cs panel and then glue the panels to the card base.
Don’t forget to add a Basic White cs inside panel to write your message. Stamp the sentiment and add a strip of DSP to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.
I hope you enjoyed my Beauty of the Earth DSP Simple Stamping card. You can order the Beauty of Friendship stamp set and the currently on sale Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper in my Online Store. Be sure to check out all the Designer Series Papers on Sale through August 2nd here!

I’m casing one of you cards right now. (BTW, I think you meant that skinny piece of scrap was 3/16″ wide.)
Hi Vicki – I’m so glad you liked and are CASEing a card!!! I love to hear that!! I checked and I usually add a strip of DSP that’s 1/2″ x 4″ to the inside and back of the card but for this card I had a smaller scrap and cut it in half so instead of my normal strip size these were 3/8″ x 4″.
Beautiful card Christy. I love the simplicity of it and how you enhanced the DSP by stamping it.
Thank you Maude! I love this fabulous pack of Designer Series Paper! 😊
